i tried that. it's very very nice.
Last time i went there in Late April, it's quite cold and there's still snow on the ground, the so called garden scenary was covered with slow.. i guess it will be a lot better in May. or June.
The private bath is quite good, i chose room Fuji. it's open, u can see that there's another building on the other side if u try to move forward inside the bath. i guess no one would really look at u though. it seems the 2nd floor's abandoned. Taking shower outisde is indeed a bit weird , but still acceptable ..
i booked online through their web site, their english is ok. If u arrive there, the recetionist's english is acceptable, but the others are ... er.. u might need to know a bit japanese to communicate. BUT their services are so good, a person tried to set my table for dinner , coz i couldnt understand what she said, she ran outside after setting it up to ask for the english meaning and came back to tell me. Oh the toilet is next to the entry. u wont need to pee outdoor -.- "
The dinner was superb. Do that in the room. you will have a lot to eat ^_^ all look so nice.
there's nth much nearby the place. u better rent a car to drive there. it's around 20 min from 小樽 centre.
