Thanks so much! It seems there's only one scheduled bus going from Plitvice to Dubrovnik everyday and it's a 10hr ride, which means I'll waste a whole day on traveling.
Do you know if the bus service is reliable?
I'm thinking maybe I can take the afternoon bus to Split, stay for the night and head for Dubrovnik around daybreak. Do you think it's feasible?

there's a morning bus if you like to stay one night there.
or it's better to go back Zadar (or Zagreb), there are more choices.
anyway, it's not a good idea to visit Plitvice first and then go to Dubrovnik.
