procedure to apply for Permanent Resident is still the same
as 5 years ago..
My experience to get PR Status in Singapore
i) Use Professional Skillsets to apply a job in Singapore.
Once the company offer the job, Company will apply
Employment Pass for that candidate.
Normally there are few category Q1,Q2,P1
:-| :-| I visit Singapore few round before gotten
my Employment Pass.
(W) First interview with Junior Management
(W) Second interview with Senior Management
(W) Sign appointment letter + Sign EP Application Form
(W) Body Checkup in endorsed Clinic
(W) Waiting for the EP approval
(F) (F) Finally Settle down in Singapore (F) (F)
ii) Apply the PR after 6 month stay in Singapore.
The Company need to support your application...
ICA (Immigration Checkpoint of Authority will send
us the letter once it's approved)
Employment Pass and Work Permit is different.
: - Employment Pass is tied to company (for Professional)
: - Work Permit is tied to individual
^o) ^o) Outsourcing is very popular in Singapore now, Currently
a lot of foreign talents from China and India applying job through
employment agency in their respective country. This arrangement
can solve some problem as compared to those that applying job
themselves...eg: interview may be conduct through phone.. etc
:-P :-P Once you got the job through the employment agency..
It's more easy for you to look for another job :-P :-P

obtain PR has changed.. thus it's better for you to check the
