We are planning to get there from Vancouver by car. Do you suggest a 2-days trip or just make it 3 days ? How long does it take by car from Vancouver ?

Are you planning to go to banff? Or just go to Okanagan Valley?
From Vancouver to Kelowna takes 3~4 hrs. But it's almost half way to Banff. Maybe you guys could stay in Kelowna for 2 days & go Calgary or Banff.
In Kelowna is nothing to do in winnter, If you wish to go, Maybe you can go Big-White to ski. or you can stay in hotel nearly 97 highway. Also go Summerhill to have lunch(All the way down to Lakeshore Rd.)
There got a Gokart beside 97 highway, In Kelowna, 97 highway called Harvey St.
The largest shopping mall called " Ochard Park" But I don't think you will be interesting in shopping in Kelowna.
Anyway, Kelowna in the place for relax. If you go, Please also go to my school " Okanagan University College" Say hello to the people in Kelowna for me.
