I've been living in Dallas area for over 10 years. It's really not much to see in TX. As for the nature scenery, just flat, open land. If you want to go west to Big Bend, you might see cotton fields on the way; but don't expect too much, like stunning view. You'll be very disappointed. People come here to see cowboy show/culture, or go south to see some history stuff.

San Antonio 是一定要去的啦，那是一個連老美都認為很有特色的城市。Alamo教堂告訴你德州曾經是一個「獨立國家」喔！(還跟美國相互承認，帥吧！)
喜歡鄉村樂者請到Austin市中心區。
我個人最愛：Fredricksburg~理由是私人秘密不告訴你。
南方避寒及海灘勝地：如果你愛墨西哥與美國混合風味，請到Harlingen與South Padre Island。
西邊：有沙漠景觀(但不是滿地黃沙喔)與Rio Grande峽谷的Big Bend國家公園。
更西邊：新墨西哥州White Sand Monument Park~在不會弄髒衣服的白沙上打滾感覺真棒！
喜歡鄉村樂者請到Austin市中心區。

能否請各位大大幫我說明一下到這些地方大約要開車開多久,怎麼樣玩才順路,感謝...另外想請問休士頓ＮＡＳＡ太空中心好不好玩,值不值得買票進去參觀,請客棧裡的大大給個意見...

我在德州遊玩是很久以前的往事，有關車程這種細節我全忘光了。請去找張德州地圖，看城市之間的英哩數，大概就是你開車所需的分鐘數，再除以60就是小時數了。休士頓NASA中心當然值得科學愛好者一遊，但它位在東南角有點不順路，若你想往東德州走，據說都是像阿肯色州的松樹林林地，但我不是很熟。
10天可以:第一天從Dallas 開車約5小時--> Austin/ Fredricksburg距離約1.5小時可各參觀1天，Austin有美麗的湖泊與河濱公園-->次日開車約1~2小時至 San Antonio 玩1天，夜晚遊河最美，河邊用餐氣氛很棒-->次日開車約4~5小時至 Houston玩1天--> ???接下來就自己安排吧！
只能告訴你這麼多了...

如果您要玩 I-10 沿線, 如果您是非美國公民, 最好把護照跟有效居留文件帶在身上. I-10 跟墨西哥邊境有很多檢查哨會查非法移民.

是的，最明顯的地方是El Paso周邊100哩的圓圈內
這是個邊界自由貿易區，這個範圍內，河對面的墨西哥人可以免簽證進來活動，
所以只要你一開車進入El Paso周邊，等你想離開的時候，就會遇到檢查哨，不論走哪一條路都會，包括往Carlsbad Cavern或White Sands的新墨西哥州公路

休士頓南方沿45號道路可以一直開到海邊的Galveston,這裡也是一個度假天堂.

OK, 10 days in TX is really a big headache. Like Pctang said it's really not too many interesting stuff here. I cane here from '95 & still couldnt find a really "nice " place. But thats just based on my Taiwaness ieda & if u ask American than they will tell u another story.
Anyway following is my suggestion.
1. Houston: 2 days the most & u can drive south to Galveston. But the ocean there is gray not blue. Space center, so so & no command!!
2. San Antonio: 3-4 days & u can drive south to Corpus Christi. Those are really interesting place. Do not miss the riverwalk in San Antonio. Tale a boat if u have time. I think there 2 are the best in TX.
3. Hill country: another 2 days. That's in the center TX & a lot of American love that since a lot of nice, neat small town & nice view over there but if u go Seattle or New England before than u will just feel OK!! Sorry that's just my ppl expenience.
4. Not suggest go S. Padre Island or El Paso since TOO FAR if u fly to DFW than reat car.
