從美國申請歐洲申根簽證

I get rejected in new york ( i am study in new york), those french people are so NASTY, they treated everyone there like shit, and i already paid my tickets (air france, i even want to take french airline!!!) now they are all wasted.
I dont know if anyone know why is it so hard to apply in US, i think if i apply back in taipei will be easier....
I am sure i have all the documents, i came back few times as they requested, why didnt they reject me in the first time?
On the way out, i want to talk to someone, she said she cant tell me why, but how can i improve if i want to re-apply? i knocked the door to ask a guy who i beleive is the head of the office, he just gave me a dirty look then walked away.......WHY AM I BEEN TREATED LIKE SHIT??!!! and they treated everyone who applied there like shit, only one guy got the visa that day (he was in front of me.) because he spoke french.......WHAT THE HELL...
they have very limited info on thier website, so u would think they should be very helpful because u cannot find anything on the website, but why do many people have to come back so many times? because that, they even open one window (they only have 3 people interview.....) just for the people who came back for other documents...
is my rejection gonna affect if i apply other schengen visa? and i dont even know why they reject me...
is it really true i can fly to paris with other countries schengen visa? didnt i have to enter from other countries then i can fly to paris?

WHAT? they reject my visa to frence, they r really nasty and mean...i dunno why they reject me:(

i recently got rejected from France, i really dont know why...., does any one know if i should wait? people told me its easier to apply Spain visa, how about Italy? Thanks!

I have to warn u, they are really mean, u have to come back and forth for all the documents; they dont accept anything document that is "email", you have to ask the hotel to fax you (not hotel.com, or travelocity.com, ect.) and they dont accept student insurance card, you have to ask your insurance company to fax you a letter (which the website DIDNT say anything about it, and they are NOT helpful at all!!) so they gave me few numbers, then i called, found out you just need to buy "another" travel insurance, which should be covered within yhe student insurance....
They treated everyone very badly, if u can, maybe u should use "mail", dont go there in person. But it takes forever...

A friend of mine with F1 Visa applied for Italy Schengen Visa in Chicago last year. She got visa right away on her first visit. She didn't even have a complete hotel booking for the whole itinerary, but they didn't really check in detail and granted her visa anyhow.

Just talk to my friend. She actually went there twice. The first tme she did not have any accomodation reservation. They told her all she needed was to make hotel reservation for at least half of the itinerary. Email confirmation was enough to prove.

So here are the documents she brought with her:

1. Flight reservation email confirmation (does not need to be paid already)

2. Hotel reservation email confirmation for half of the ininerary.

3. Travel insurance proof (Her school medical insurance covered travel)

這次我終於把觸角伸到了亞洲以外的地方~哈哈! 真是太開心了
目前已計畫好留職停薪2/27啟程飛LA停留幾天再轉Boston
開始三個月的Boston遊學
課程中4/28-5/6學校放假，要住在host family每天還得額外支付50美金
課程6/1結束以後也暫時沒有那麼快回台灣，預計待到6月底

美東飛歐洲並不遠(跟台灣比的話..)，我想趁此規劃放假去歐洲(maybe法國巴黎)旅行，有幾個疑慮希望請經驗豐富的網友們替我解惑

**申根簽證**
根據我所收集的資料，初次發給的申根簽證期限都只有三個月，也就是說我二月申請法國申根，頂多只能到5月，那麼我的旅行期限將被迫只能選擇4/28-5/6那段期間......我想問:
1. 台灣人是否只能從台灣辦理申根簽證? 能否從美國辦理?
2. 有效期間是否真的就跟我查到一樣只有3個月? 有沒有可發給較長期限的申根簽證會員國?

**機票問題**
1. 從美國的網站上訂機票
我試過找了幾個網站(ex. STA travel, France Airline等)目前是有看到一些不錯的價錢，但是有聽說要有美國的地址才能訂購，不知是否真有此事? (如果是這樣我得先徵求host family的同意才行)或者有沒有其他的注意事項?

**Contiki**
最近常在STA travel上面晃無意間發現有這個好康，機票自理，自行飛到全球各地機場集合參加英語旅遊團....自助習慣了我想換個模式玩玩看..
1. 我想參加看看Contiki的歐洲當地旅行團，不知是否有朋友曾經參加過?
2. Contiki也有辦埃及團，上面的介紹是說埃及可以辦理落地簽...不過我查了一下台灣可以辦落地簽證的國家又看不到埃及...心裡實在有些疑惑....是否有網友知道呢? 我在想如果辦理申根簽證有時間上的限制的話，那就去可以辦落地簽的地方，課程結束後可以自在的遊玩....

有點貪心跟奢侈~ 拉拉雜雜的寫了一堆真不好意思...
