阿拉斯加遊輪

請問已有美簽 打算從西雅圖坐round trip cruise至阿拉斯加 也需要申請加簽嗎? 最多不是靠加國港口不下而已嗎? Thanks!

答案是不行!
你坐的船是國際線的航線 (幾乎所有的cruise都不是國內線)
如果你沒進加拿大，船公司就違反國際線的航約!
你變成國內線的乘客，這是違法的，船公司會被罰錢
免稅店/關稅也會出問題
事實上，一上船，所有的名單早已送給加拿大海關審查，等於已經「預先通關」
到了加拿大的港口，不需要通過任何關卡

所以，沒有加拿大簽證，船公司根本不可能讓你上船

你想在西雅圖上船，可以直接去西雅圖的加拿大領事館辦簽證，當天就可以拿到，非常容易。

Yes definitely you NEED visa from Canada. All the cruise from Seattle to Anchorage or just inside passage will still stop @ Vancouver for half day at least. It doesn't matter you still stay on the cruise or have shore excursions but you still need Canada visa. Plus it will be really boring to stay on the ship since all the store, theater, etc have to be closed except restaurant when cruise stop @ the port. So just go get Canada visa & shouldnt be difficult!!
Btw, cruise will be very interesting & nice experience for ppl from Taiwan. So if u see any good deal then go ahead take advantage & enjoy... :-)

你說的不完全正確
大部份的西雅圖出發的alaska cruise，是停「Victoria」，而不是停「溫哥華」,
這些行程都是有設計過的
Victoria通常只停4小時，就是個技術上的停點，滿足國際線的定義，順便讓旅客去個布查花園。
另一種行程是，溫哥華來回阿拉斯加，以及溫哥華-安克拉治(Whittier/Seward)單程
這些行程，就不需要停Victoria，因為已經符合國際線的定義

Yes Katmai you are right!! Cruise only stop @ Victoria if start from SF or Seattle. If from Vancouver than has to start from Canada!! Tks for correction!!
Also 布查花園(Butchart garden) is pretty & neat place to go!!

每季的第一班(約四月)和最後一班(十月)是最便宜的, 但是天氣還是滿冷的. 七八兩月是最好的季節, 但是也是最貴的.

Try Expedia & they will give u really detail info including price, schedule & port of call.
Basically u will get good offer either May or September otherwise all other month will expensive.
Also my experience is inside cabin will be good enough & do not pay more $$ to stay in ocean view or balcony cuz most time u will not stay in your room!! Save $$ on the room then u can enjoy more on the shore excursions!!
