從LAX沿著一號公路經17miles到舊金山大約900Km，一天有24小時，每個小時37.5Km，如果開車的話一定可到，對開車來說應該不算太趕，而且也不會超過SR-1的限速...

highway 1 is mostly local, that means there will be traffice too,
it is very pretty but super slow from LA to Ventura,
after Ventura will merge with 101 to Santa Barbara, it is highway can drive 65, but heavy traffic .
from Satna Barbara to San Luis Obispo still highway but nothing much special, just some wineris and maybe salvang you can stop by.
after San Luis Obispo, 1 and 101 seperate, then it will be the most chanleange part to drive, I don't think you can drive faster than 25 mph around the coast.
若要在17miles中途留宿，可以選擇的不多，可以考慮the lodge at Pebble Beach，如果要求不是很多的話，一個晚上600元應該夠了，第二天早上再花個400打場世界第一的高爾夫球....帥.....

I would suggest to stop around San Luis Obispo,
many reasonable hotels, hot springs, beaches...
get a good sleep, so you can drive safely next day to Big Sur.

the nicer room are over $1000 per night....
that is why I suggest to find hotel elsewhere.
by the way 17哩 is not 海岸線, but road go throught all those rich people's private houses and clubes. if you dont live inside, you have to pay to get in.

然後再延著US 1回LA

剛剛看了一下地圖發現嚴重的錯誤，原來17 Mile Dr. 除了主要在Pebble Beach外，還延伸到了Pacific Grove
所以說要在17 Mile中途留宿，應該包含了Pacific Grove，這樣住宿的選擇就多了....
不過，大家說的17 Mile Dr.沒有人指Pacific Grove這一段吧！(這一段應該不在收費的範圍)

裡面除了the Lodge at Pebble Beach外,還有the Inn at Spanish Bay

一般大家說 17 mile drive, 就是指付了門票後, 進去的那些景點
而不是說那條叫 seventeen mile drive 的路,
pacific grove 的選擇也不多吧
我公司每年都把全體研發部門關到海邊的 asilomar 搞腦力激盪營
所以那裡算是小熟, 因為 asilomar 食物難吃, 大家都偷偷溜出去覓食
但裡面住的選擇不錯,

到豪華的森林小木屋, 夠一百多人開轟趴
願意走路的, 還可以走進 17 mile drive (走路跟騎腳他車就不需要付門票)

It is said that Carmel is a nice place to see around and stay for the night. Seventeen mile drive is not far from here. Probably it is a good choice.
