LA 飲食推薦與討論
含著奶嘴闖天涯
之前提出了"LA自助遊/搭乘MTA公車捷運的問題",得到了很多回應,真的是非常感謝,現在"行"的問題稍微解決了,開始想到"吃"的問題,我的行程大概如下:有7天,中間3天會參加華人旅行社的LV/大峽谷旅遊,剩下頭尾共四天,一天DISNEYLAND,一天環球影城,一天HOLLYWOOD+PASADENA,一天GETTY CENTER+SANTA MONICA BEACH,就拜拜回台北了,因此,請問在HOLLYWOOD、WESTWOOD(UCLA)、PASADENA、SANTA MONICA BEACH、MONTEREY PARK、CHINA TOWN、KOREA TOWN及聯合車站對面的OLVERA ST等地方(這些地方大概BUS/RAIL都可到),可否推薦一些有特色且經濟的餐館(希望一人消費最多不要超過$15,或是花費貴但份量夠2人吃),我希望這些討論不僅對我有幫助,對於一些想要撘公車坐捷運吃省錢的背包族來說也是有助益,謝謝!

There is an old burger place by Caltech on California Ave.. I think the name of the res. is something like Pie and Burger........ Is there anyone tried before?

一曲琵琶傾城夢
海港換名字了, 好像叫凱悅 (不是記得很清楚), 東西是比較精緻, 不過還是不脫俗放了味精.
若要吃漢堡就是 IN & OUT 啦! 美東的人都曉得:)
要吃港式飲茶,海港應該是最棒,但比較貴囉~

這一家很會發明一些獨到的菜式，我覺得中午點心比較好吃，
基本上是走高級路線，有一次因為某原因晚上去吃，
吃一道菜就換一次盤子，菜色也很具特色，印象不錯，
餐廳是從加拿大連鎖過來的，但是在羅蘭崗踢到鐵板的感覺，
在Rosemead的這家生意不錯。

Visited http://blog.webs-tv.net/backy/article/853892, very nice quide to the area, for example, sawtelle in w. LA.
Just want to share a couple of kitchens where provide lunch specials on Sawtelle blvd with you. Hide's tempura, Blue Marlin's pork cutlet curry rice and miso-pork cutlet.
Well, Wako Tonkatsu on olympic in korean town provides another nice alternative, too (no lunch specials).
If you go to torrance, you can try Inaba's lunch specials ( they also open another one in Irvine area).
And if you go to Irvine, after you get out of 405 at irvine center drive exit west, there is a corner mall right on your left. A jap. res. (forgot the name, sorry, but you can tell by the eaters inside) in the mall has good lunch specials like Katsu-don...
More are coming after I revisit and try to remember the names of those res. next time, and basically, my list is only for lunch specials if you are interested.
