HELP (digital camera question in Peru)

My digital camera (Ricoh R7) is broken in Huacachina.(too much sand?)
The lens is stuck and I can not turn it on. I´m so sad.
Is there any posibility that I can fix it in Arequipa ?

You are right, sand in the lens. It happened to my Sony P200 as well in Xinjiang. I think you should had your camera repaired already. Arequipa is the second bigest city in Peru.
