As I dont know the distance between each city by car, so I just plan the route based on my assumption.

One more thing that need advise... Do we need VISA for Sri Lanka as a Malaysian?

可否再描述一下 Ajith 這位司機的服務狀況,讓我好參考要不要僱用他當司機...

因為他已經離開原來的公司,[email protected] 聯絡到的是原公司,
五天上限700km司機+租車報價US250,超過一公里US0.35,每日住宿約us35,可看到滿意再入住!

而[email protected] 是Ajith的新郵件,
他的報價是US300,含五天全部行程,(和您當初的us200整整多了US100)
住宿約US45-US55,而且他會先預訂好,Polonnaruwa Kandy住的是guest house 另外這幾間好像比較特別:

How' your car rental arrangment? We have quotation from Trevelyan Vanderhoven ([email protected]) . It charges us USD 285 and as your mention USD 250. He comments :-

Please be informed and believe that from the beginning of this month we have increased
the wages of our drivers and other staff. This is due to the fact of sudden increase
on all commodity items here in Srilanka. For example, 250g of vegetable which was
LKR 30/= has gone up to LKR 70/=. We have been pointed out various reasons for
this sudden hike. One is the recent flooding.

What is the latest car rental price you get? We will travel on 26/3/11, and you? Thanks.

Hi,

I just ask Mr.Ajith about his charges now. He did provide a good service during our visit last year. Anyone interested might consider it. Below is the quote from his email :

Hello Sir ,

Thank You ,We are fine , hope your family is in good health ,

I am Driving a Comfortable station wagon (Petrol) now (Images Attached) that can travel 3 Persons with baggage's.
I will give you the best price as Rs.4500/= for 100 KM (Per Day) this depend by the literary,

Also I can offer you a Comfortable (Diesel) van (Without me) 6 Persons with Baggage's Unlimited Mileage for Rs.6000/= Per Day.

Sir,I gave all these charges to Mr.Chiumayi- for that literary it will be more than 750 KM @ Rs.40/=per KM= Rs.30,000/=
(With my attention)
I know there are some travel agents running for very cheep rates,(As my previous Travel agent-Mr. Trevelyan-gave as USD 250/=
finally the driver adding extra mileage /overtime running after 6PM & creating problems to the client.(That is 1 reason that I, left that place)
As you told Travelyan the tip that you have given me for my service as 3000/= which he Deducted from me.

But you know very well about me & my services , No problem -as per your kindness , I will do what you are telling me to do -

Inform me for any requirement I will give you my best.

in-order to protect our valuable guests, our company and also safe guard the image of our country.

這是Mr.trevelyan轉給我他與Ajith的通信:

As I told you last week I treated you as my best friend and not as a driver.
But as mentioned below I have never ever asked regarding the tips you received. Your claim of me deducting
3000/= is totally wrong. Mr.Hong never told me that he gave you 3000/=. THIS IS ONE OF SEVERAL INCIDENTS
THAT I CAME TO KNOW YOUR MISDOINGS WITH ME AND GUESTS. This would now clearly prove
why you opt to leave us.....

Also during the last year I have served 121 guests and your fellow drivers have never ever asked for extra money
apart from the amount that was promised. If extra kms were done it was coordinated with me before settling. Also
as you know we never charge for overtime, accommodation or food for the drivers. From where did
you get these figures.

You can visit once again visit our recommendation link on face book and see for your self
how your fellow drivers have served the guests.

他們給我的報價都未通知要更動,但不知屆時會不會提高? 我曾經提Mr. Hong 的US200與Mr.trevelyan議價過,他也是以物價飛漲為理由拒絕,並說250是early bird 的特惠價,(我在八月才會到 Sri Lanka),屆時你們都已從Lanka回來了,或許你們有人會僱用Ajith或 Mr.trevelyan 安排的司機, 再請你們分享實際的情形囉!

我們八月初才從斯里蘭卡回來,是跟Ajith聯絡的行程
整個心得是Ajith不是個老實的人

他自己沒法帶團卻含糊其詞
到了斯里蘭卡我們才發現被塞給另一個司機Rohan

前三天應有的愉快旅遊心情全被Rohan搞砸
第四天我們毅然辭退了Rohan,整個斯里蘭卡遊才撥得雲開見月明
見識到斯里蘭卡友善的民情與質樸的自然風光
我們受的氣,有興趣的人可以來信詢問

對將要去斯里蘭卡的人,我建議還是找正規的旅行社行程才有保證
對於這種個體戶,他們僅是想要賺錢,根本沒在管名聲的

我強烈反推薦Ajith,想找他的人三思。
