the flamingoes in Lake Nakuru may be more than a million...
I think flamingoes in Lake Nakuru are not staying in the lake all the year around. In my last visit in early July 2008, I saw many million of pelican 塘鵝/鵜鶘, but only about 50 flamingoes and very far too.

我們的 agent 也是 somak 公司. 不過二人一部車比較貴.
我們的司機 叫Christoper(tyreburst), 不知道是不是同一人. 只有這張半頭相.

Only a few left in Kenya but sometime they come back but less than before. Might be Marky is lucky than us.

Only a "few" in July last year? i saw lot of flamingoes and pelicans in lake Nakuru last week. the lake was "pink" in color, which was was very very lovely!
my driver's name is Peterson. i call him Peter. He is a very nice and lovely 'father'. i asked him how could he remembered all the roads in the park since i could not find any GPS or maps in his car. he told me he took lessons in training school for 2 years before becoming a tour guide. he studied animals and plants in school. he had field trips in all Kenya's national parks too. he is very professional, isn't he? i guess Christoper is one of his classmate too. :P
If i am going to Kenya again, i will ask Somak to find Peter to drive for me. haha.
There is a pic of the 'old princess' in 'the ark'? i hadn't seen it...

'old princess' is Elizabeth II of Britian, her father died when she was staying in this hotel. So they say check in as princess, check out as a Queen.
