The Overland Track

I finished the overland track two days ago.
That's such a wonderful experience.
I stayed in the mountain for ten days, saw many beautiful scenery.
Go, everyone should try.
But the weather is not so good in TAS recently.
Maybe next summer, you should come to TAS to try overland track.

I will go to Tas on 29 Apr for WWOOF and maybe later i will join the tour to west coast for three days
On the other hand, i wanna take the bus to the southest spot of Tas very much(because i don't rent a car and i travel alone) but I have no idea whether it is ok or not.

So i wanna ask the experienced visitor that is it ok for taking bus to the southest spot of Tas?

上次在tassie也想試，不過季節不太對，一直下雨，又沒有足夠的裝備就放棄了 :-(
沒走這條track是一年度假打工的遺憾之一說

關於交通...這個季節已經進入淡季了吧，不管是當地的bus，甚至是旅行團都會比較少一些，旅行前記得仔細確定交通問題喔

I stayed in Tasmania for two weeks last month but only went to the top of cradle mountain. Do you bring a tent with you? I am planing to go to Tas again in next summer and try it!

我預計明年五月初的時候去走
因為從五月開始不用收費~~對吧??
只是氣候條件不曉得如何@@
敢問pinkpig前輩覺得五月初去overland track是否合適??有何建議??

應該會滿冷的喔！

5月開始 Tasmania 已經開始進入冬季，在平地的清晨、傍晚就會在10度以下了吧！更不用說山上了

而且4月開始，Tassie 西半部的降雨就開始變多，朋友4月底走過一趟，7天下來只有一天看到太陽，其他不是下雨就是陰陰的天氣..

一般似乎不太多人會選擇那個時候去走，不過如果你真的只能那個時候去，衣物、裝備的準備就自己多留意囉！

I went there twice,
the first time was in April, the second time was in June, the end of June.
I was lucky, the weather were good (both time)
I will reply you the detail when I go back TW.

Don't worry, you will be fine to go there in May.

以overland track 的設計 一年四季都是好日子
只是冬天會很冷,地上會積雪,你要更加小心一點.
我第一次去是四月,去十天,山上天氣算是不賴,只是會遇到陽光,下雨,下雪...在同一天
聽說山下連連下雨.....四月算是秋初,我遇到下雪...
不過因為一直在走,也不覺得冷..
第二次去是六月底,山下晚上動不動就零度,
去到山上就更冷,但這次七天連小雨都沒遇到,更沒遇到下雪,
只是之前的積雪留在地上,變得非常濕滑,跌倒了好幾次

五月剛好不用錢,天氣也還沒冷到那樣,應該是滿合適的,
不知道你有沒有任何登山健行的經驗,
我在overland之前都沒有,我也是撐過兩次
沿途都有hut(山中小屋)可以過夜,原則上一天一個hut來住,七天可以住完,
七天可以畢業.如果你腳程快,我有遇過一個日本女生五天完成
主幹外還有很多side track,如果想去看看也是不錯的選擇

保暖裝備--20度的睡袋,保暖衣物,防水外套,褲子和鞋子
露營裝備-帳篷一定要帶,雖然冬天小屋通常都有位置睡,但難保它有客滿的一天
食物是基本的,只能用瓦斯罐煮,全線禁止升火.

我想你應該是有登山經驗的人,
基本該注意的應該都知道,我其實是個登山菜鳥而已..

我有帶地圖回台,你如果想先看看,我們可以橋時間,
我帶著借你看,但不好意思,那是我的紀念品,不能完全借給你.
