highly recommended casas and black listed casas in Cuba

Hola, All,
After my visit to Cuba, I would like to consolidate the info for recommended and not recommended casas
Recommended -
1. Habana -
Graciela and Isgrat,
25cuc with breakfast, San Nicolas 68 entre Trocadero y Laguna, Centro Habana,
Tel 537 860 1643

(pls note that they are now in restoration of the new house, ask clearly if they will refer you to another casa)
2. Trinidad -
Lucimey
25 cuc (has to bargain whether breakfast included)
Julio Antonio Mella 359, between Bernal y Colon

3. Santiago -
Peter y Vilma
25 cuc not include breakfast (breakfast 4cuc, meals 7 cuc)
Trinidad (general portuondo) No 159
entre Gallo (10 de Octubre) y San Pio (B.H. Vazquez)

Actually, first and third one are quite popular among backpackers. As a whole, they are very nice people and wouldnt just send you to some other casas because the late comers stay longer than you. This is very important for me - a kind of trust

Cienfuego -
1. Casa de vista del Mar
Email and called twice to confirm
but on arrival suddenly refer to another casa with excuse that no email confirmation is received.
Even showing her the calling history from my cell phone in Mexico, she turned
Black face and insisted she is right.
2. Casa Sunset Zunilda y Raya
the 2nd casa referred from the first, but immediately tell me one night is 30cuc instead of 25 cuc by casa de vista del Mar
then, when the host find that I will not eat dinner in the house, she asked me to leave because i m not letting her to earn enough.
These 2 casas made me feel the ugly side of cuba, $ have been so important and casa is a matter of business where you may not be able to find trust.
Luckily I have gone to those recommended ones before and made me have a balanced view on Cubanos.
