活力澳洲打工行及住宿的小TIP???

我是67年次2月的男生， 叫我Max或明儒都可以，其實本人這次去澳洲的期待是能將自己平常所學的英文確實的變成語言工具，平實練書英文多半是紙上學習，因此希望能透過澳洲打工生活，讓英文成為實際可用的語言。
（本人特愛個人冒險，在台灣全島已有多次足跡，因此這次澳洲行必不會錯過，但個人旅行的經驗，居於各方考量及人身安全問題，將不計劃找伴同遊。）

之前曾在台灣多次自助旅行，我自己也來提供一點資訊吧！
基本上在台灣自助旅行非常容易，普遍來說有三種方式解決睡的問題：
1、上網爬住宿的地點，找適合自己價位的旅社/旅館住或民宿。
資源很多很容易找到，但是要事先找好住宿地點及電話預約，會比較方便，另外還有像青年旅社、救國團這樣便宜好地方，可以大大節省住宿費用。
2、尋找當地的教會、寺院、廟宇。
這是住在台灣最大的福利之一，因為台灣是能接受各個宗教信仰的民主國家，因此台灣全島遍佈宗教廟宇，若要尋求過夜的地點，這是非常好用的資源管道，而且容易尋得，但是要注意禮貌哦，尤其不要太晚睡及大聲喧嘩並注意各宗教的一些規定！最後如果在您離去時別忘了丟些香油錢啊！互相互相。
3、自備帳篷睡袋。
這是最省錢的自助旅行方式，幾乎接近於零費用，但是在選擇撘帳地點時要小心，有時要注意遊民，撘帳時留意哪些地方可能積水；尋找撘帳地點前可先問問當地人哪些地方有較安全的撘帳地點。（如真的找不到，可以找有停車管理員的地方付費停車位，徵求同意後撘帳過夜，但千萬別在別人地盤上打釘哦！）
若要節省開銷，建議可以採行2、3的方式互搭，而且像有些風景區的感覺真的非常棒，自己就曾經將帳篷撘在景色迷人的好地方，夜晚時星空迷人，白天時一醒來又有和大地融為一體的感覺，很棒。
之前曾花三千多塊打死台灣環島多天的行程呢！(用單車)相信還有人花更少的，不過覺得三千多塊的品質還可以。

我個人非常支持單車環島，我還覺得國民兵役應該加單車環島這一項，讓台灣的勇士們體驗台灣這塊土地，弄清楚台灣的大小，並清楚自己要保護的是什麼，我覺得這是再正面不過了。
回主題，提到單車環島，我想環過的人都會覺得沒什麼難度，因此，環島所遇之事所帶來的收獲才是最重要的，如果一路上都沒有和當地適度的親近，那坐車會比較明智一點。
不要想太多了，趕快去吧！台灣全年都適合環島，注意安全第一就是了。
PS.走一千五百公尺以上山路要帶護膝、手套及圍巾及早睡早起。有空的時候多陪陪原住民（打獵小心，刀子自備）。
瑞士刀是一定要帶的啦！

不過當年的願景如今實現真是很開心的一件事且收獲遠遠超過原先所能想像的。
所以我建議青年要完成的兩件大事：
1、單車環島。
2、出國挑戰Working Holiday。

Start Saving Now: Energy Efficient Home Improvements

How to get more energy efficient at home!!
Hi~ my name is Max Valuation and I'm with my Personal Designed Energy Efficient House and today I'm here to talk to you about how to make your home more energy efficient.
Now, I will take you on a room by room tour to show you some changes you can make around the house to save energy and money.

As we all know the T8 fluorescent light which had been around for a while now but can we do something to get more energy efficient than that?
Let's take a look at this fixture on the ceiling which has been set up for 28W T5 fluorescent light.
When it's compared to a T8 fluorescent light each T5 fluorescent light is 10% brighter for less than 25% of the energy cost and it also lasts 2 times longer than a T8 fluorescent light.
T5 fluorescent lights have an instant re-strike feature which means they come on instantly when you turn it on and it doesn't make a buzzing noise like the tradition T8 fluorescent light.
See, It really works. (Switch on then off several times to prove it.)

LED Lighting
You might have heard about the LED light bulb which can save up to 90% of the energy cost and it also has 50,000 hours longer life for each one.
Wow~sound's good to get one.
But... after you check out the price.
Oh~my God, why pay an arm and a leg for that. (means very expensive.)
However, if you are really concerned about your power bill.
The longer life span will decrease the need to frequently change out bulbs which in turn reduces the cost of supplies and maintenance.
Think about it!! Which ways do you turn on the lights for a long time?
Like your porch lights or wall fixture which you used to light it up every night.
The LED will be the best way to replace the incandescent lights from these fixtures.
Let's do a quick proof:On the right side is a 1W LED light bulb.
On the left side is a 10W incandescent light bulb.
As you can see the LED light bulb is 40% brighter than the traditional incandescent light bulb.
It has quite high energy efficiency and less heat.Ok~good to know that.
Now, Let's take look at a little advance.

Oven back light
This is the dead light bulb most of people hate to change inside an oven.
What can we do? replace by a compact fluorescent light??
Oh~that will die as soon as it can and with really bad smells.
There is a little technical problem inside the oven and we have to deal with it.
Because the oven produces a lot of heat it also cooks your light bulb.
That's why we could only use an incandescent light bulb before.
Now, in my hand is a 4W heat-resisting LED.
There was a 60W incandescent light bulb inside the oven before I replaced it.
This one can work at high temperatures(knock!!knock, make sound with glass stick.)
And it's also got a converter with it which I already set up.
That will help the LED to work happily with 220v which powers many types of oven.
Now, I'm putting it in and turn it on.
Ok! It's working.
You know what?
It's quite a good saving after I replacement a 4W LED bulb for a 60watt incandescent bulb.
Besides the fact that it decreases the worry to frequently operate the oven to change bulbs.
It's really worthwhile to make it work.

This LED desk lamp which I made it myself only drawing 4W.
And I also got my money back in energy cost savings after 4 months later and I'm happy with that change.

Start Saving Now: Reuse the waste water with a Reverse Osmosis Water System

If the supply of your drinking water comes from a Reverse Osmosis System, then you will have an extra 3 or 4 times as much water wasted.
It might cost an extra 300 gallons of water wasted for supplying your family drinking water in one month.
Wow, that's a lot of water waste.
And where does that wasted water goes? Does it go to the sewer?
Actually, it does go to the sewer.
Oh~that costs money doesn't it!!
When in fact, that Waste water from RO systems is actually pretty clean and similar to tap water in purity levels.
Today ,I'm gonna show you how to store the RO waste water and the way to reuse it like the most commonly used type of tap.
Firstly:
Prepare a 20 liters water container.
Make a hole near the bottom of the water container and connect to the tap with a hose.
Secondly:
Make a water hole right throught the center of the lid if the water container doesn't have any kind of hole for the RO water hose to fit in.
Put the slim hose which is where the RO waste water comes out through the lid hole into the water container.
Thirdly:
Trun the tap on after the waste water has filled the water container, done.
Just remember: If you want to set up two water containers to store more water for sure then you can use another water hose to make a connection between two water containers then the waste water can go through the water container to another one and make sure the containers are always higher than your water tap.
