現在有點猶豫,當然一分錢一分貨,已經好久沒住hostel, 以前曾經碰過很髒的hostel, 所以Farah的no private bath讓我有點擔心

I stayed at Farah Hotel yesterday, 9JD for a double room without private bathroom. The room is okay (however very cold), I stayed on the 6th floor the view is great. The boss is very nice and friendly. The hotel is located in the central Amman, easy access to everywhere.

Petra我住Cleopetra Hotel,離市區比較遠但老闆早上會開車送到Petra入口,下午也可以跟老闆約好去接.但我用走的大概半小時就可以走到了

1. Farah Hotel
I stayed there on 12/24 2005. 9JD for double room without private bath. The room was very cold, water was not hot at all, just slightly warm. The room was very basic. The bedsheet was....well, I didn't have the courage to lie on it. I used my sleeping beg instead.
The hotel manger(owner) is very helpful and heartwarming. So it's delima between a nice hotel manager and clean room and bedsheet. The price is reasonable though with its facility and quality.
2. Caravan Hotel near Abdali Station
We moved to Caravan hotel the next day b/c my travelmate didn't shower for 2 days in Farah Hotel. She coudln't tolerate it any more. 20 JD for double room with private bath. The water is very hot and strong at the 2nd floor. We changed room from 3rd floor to 2nd floor b/c water was not hot on 3rd floor. The origional 3rd floor room was ok but the room we moved too later was much cleaner. So as the clean bath room.

5 minutes walk to the Petra entrance
22 JD per night for double room with private bath by staying 2 nights. I think the origional price is 25JD. Best breakfast ever had through the trip. 2 cute brothers to mange the hotel. Cute though sophisticated. Very businessman type. When we showed no interest in their Wadi Rum package, their smile fade. The most clean room, bedsheet, blanket and toilet we had through the whole Jordan&Egypt trip. (should be, also the most expensive hotel we stayed)
BTW, seems everyone in Wadi Mousa and Petra is eager to do the business to Wadi Rum with you. From the taxi drivers, hotel manager, and horse/donkey providers (inside Petra) shows eagerness to sell you the Wadi Rum package.
I heard one saying that those package departuring from Petra to Wadi Rum doesn't bring you to real Wadi Rum. Just bring you to the outskirt or not the best part of the desert. Anyone can valid the saying?

我也是住Farah Hotel,雖然房間是滿冷,但晚上我蓋了四層毯子加上穿著厚衣服睡覺.但他廁所的熱水我覺得是我全程旅行中最熱的耶!我的房間是在六樓,會是因為不同樓層的關係嗎? :^)

我也是住Farah Hotel,雖然房間是滿冷,但晚上我蓋了四層毯子加上穿著厚衣服睡覺.但他廁所的熱水我覺得是我全程旅行中最熱的耶!我的房間是在六樓,會是因為不同樓層的關係嗎? :^)

我這次去也是住Farah Hotel，4JD/DORM，
住進去那晚洗澡水不熱，但是第二天一早很熱(應該是忘記關了)。
聽其他人說要不下午你要早點回來洗。(大概下午五點)
所以洗澡水熱不熱是時間的關係。
FARAH比CLIFF好很多了，
遇到日本人住CLIFF還被不明虫子咬，3JD/DORM
住FARAH還有一個好處，
所有的定點TOUR他們都列在牆上包含時間及價格，
我個人覺得是很公道。
至於覺得床單髒的人(的確感覺不乾淨，但是起碼沒有味道)，
可以帶兩個薄床單，一個墊在床單上，一個墊在被毯下，
我看很多自助旅行者這麼做。
住進去那晚洗澡水不熱，但是第二天一早很熱(應該是忘記關了)。
聽其他人說要不下午你要早點回來洗。(大概下午五點)

熱水很熱，床單是白的，所以感覺不髒。
我住了2晚都只有我一個人。
早餐:1.5JD 餅和水煮蛋咖啡或茶。
午餐:2JD 餅和沙拉、煮豆子、不知名Muse醬等，
晚餐:3.5JD 雞飯，當然也有餅
Internet 撥接1 JD/0.5小時
礦泉水0.5 JD/大瓶
我還是建議住這兒原因是：
(1)老闆不會push你做生意。
(2)老闆會幫你安排回安曼或Wadi Rum的mini bus
(3)Wadi Musa鎮上很無聊。
