科倫-阿勒皮 回水之旅
關於backwater的介紹，相信一搜尋就很多了，而這也是kerala邦吸引人的主項之一。
很多人是從北邊下來（Alleppey-Kollam），不過如果你經濟許可，或者不想隨波逐流。建議可以嘗試回水上的過夜船屋（雙人房到超大船屋，大約Rs3000-無上限），船屋並不能帶你在Alleppey和Kollam之間交通，通常是在當地附近的水域閒逛，逗留（在Kollam,Kochi,Alleppey都有這種行程）。不過據聞浪漫指數和舒服指數，是非常值得的。我沒進去船屋內部看過，不過從我們在路上觀察的船屋，發電機、冷氣機、冰箱一應俱全，有些豪華的還是兩層樓（都是有錢的老外在陽台曬太陽呀）。
另外真正想一探回水究竟的，建議是參加Kollam當地的半天回水（DTPC辦的，Rs300一個人，9AM,2PM各有一團，從DTPC旅遊局用小巴士接你出發，就在Kollam渡船頭邊，大約四小時，在Kollam當地水域，用較小的獨木舟，可以進入細小的水道，比較接近當地村落。），遇到不少坐過這段航程的人，都十分推薦。
Kollam的KSRTC巴士站和DTPC旅遊諮詢中心和渡船口都在一起，所以任何巴士進Kollam都在這裡，如果從火車站過來，嘟嘟車最多不超過Rs20。
基本上買一般回水之旅的票，票價是統一的，Rs300，不同旅行社也都上同一條船。如果有一些比較特別（貴）的，可能是比較豪華的渡船，所以買票前看到船，或者多方詢問是應該的。
而最大眾化的八小時回水渡船，有幾個注意事項（雖然我很不推這段啦，真的有點無聊又很晒，可以看到的東西也不多）
一：盡早上船，因為是沒有劃位的，許多晚上船的就坐在下艙引擎附近。
二：防曬，雖然有像漁網的東西遮在甲板上，但是八個小時也實在夠曬，一定要記得穿長袖，帶帽子墨鏡。
三：攜帶食物，渡船在途中會停在高級旅館讓大家用餐，小小的meals叫價Rs60，加菜要加價，旁邊賣得飲料和餅乾也都超過售價，所以建議大家可以自己攜帶食物。
四：建議預先訂購Alleppey的住宿，因為抵達Alleppey的時候已經是晚上，Alleppey的住宿又很分散，所以預先找好住宿。
