**墨西哥簽證申辦須知:
護照正本及放大影印影本一份、
美國簽證或鄰國簽證放大影印影本一份、
財力證明(信用卡影本一份或銀行存褶影本一份)、
申請書及申請費用36美元(或72貝幣)。
第一天從科羅薩郵局對面的小公園出發，
在郵局的正對面搭公車去墨西哥的chetumal
在貝里斯出境海關那填寫墨西哥入境申請單時，公車沒等我們就跑掉
害我們在墨國入境處，麻煩其中一位朋友載我們去市區，還被墨國警察臨檢
誤以為我們是人蛇集團，就因為我們一堆女生在邊關全擠上一台私家車
然後男生去搭公車。
從墨國邊境到Chetumal市區的公車，就在墨國入境處往前直走一個小街口，
約8-10墨幣(peso)。抵chetumal市區只需要15-20分鐘即可達。
chetumal市區裝潢得很漂亮，很有聖誕節的氣氛，家家戶戶也紛紛在房子外觀上，
掛上一個聖誕老人正在爬入煙囪的模樣，也有掛襪子和許多美麗的燈飾，
將chetumal的夜晚點綴得閃閃動人。
在chetumal市區內搭計程車，一車約15-30墨幣(白天通常為15墨幣，夜晚加程有計程車司機收20也有收30墨幣的)，一車可搭4人，顯少司機願意接受擠5人的。
從chetumal的ADO車站搭巴士至美利達(Merida)需要半天(4-5小時)的時間，
車票是297墨幣(peso)，學生票另有優惠，長途巴士相當舒適，車上備有乾淨的洗手間，
行經美利達的中途(約2小時車程後)會停一個休息站，可下車購買墨國當地小點心或小餐點、飲料等，休息站上洗手間需要付費5墨幣(peso)[不太確定是不是這個價，但肯定不超過10墨幣]。在美利達的Ado車站下車後，車站內有固定排班計程車，到抵定飯店或民宿一車需約20-40墨幣(單程)。

1.Museo MACAY
On the Calle 60 side of the Main Plaza, next to the Cathedral.
2.WALKING TOUR OF THE HISTORICAL CENTER
Tours are in English and Spanish and leave from the Tourism Office of the Municipal Building on Calle 62 between 61 and 63. Tours start at 9:30AM
3.PALACIO DE GOBIERNO
On the North East corner of the Main Plaza, open daily.
4.THE BICYCLE ROUTE
Every Sunday from 8 AM to 12:30 PM, 5km of roads in Merida are CLOSED off to traffic allowing cyclists to enjoy a morning of bicycling in a family-oriented ambiance that is healthy and safe.
The Bici-Route runs from La Ermita de Santa ISabel (Calle 79 by 60) to the Main Plaza, then north along the Paseo Montejo to the funtain by Burger King. If you don't have a bike you can rent one for US$6.
5.MARIDA CITY MUSEUM
A small but interesting exhibit all about the City of Merida. Includes some maps and pictures of early Merida, information about the Mayan city of T'ho.
In the old Post Office, the building is a work of art in itself. Calle 65 by 56.
6.LAS AMERICAS PARK
This wonderful four block large park is a happening place on Sundays. Located in Garcia Gineres on Colon Ave. you will find live music in the scoustic stage, dances, clowns shows, food and craft vendors. Family atmosphere.
7.BOTANAS
8.CENTENARIO ZOO
A well-done zoo featuring many of the animals of the Yucatan Peninsula. It has a wonderful bird exhibit in a giant aviary that you can walk through. Set in a beautiful park with play areas for kids, It's located on Avenida Itzaes and Calle 59. There is also a mini-train you can ride around the zoo and row boats for the small lake.
9.VISIT THE ART & GALLERIES
Merida has an ever growing number of art galleries. Stroll the Santa Ana neighborhood on Calle 60 where you will find several. In Satiago there are more.
10.MUSEUM PEON CONTRERAS
Continually changing art exhibitions from around Mexico. Exhibits are usually of contemporary artists and can include sculpture, photography, painting, fabric, and just about anything else. Calle 60 between 59 and 57 inside the Peon Contreras Theater.
11.SCULPTURE WALK ON THE PASEO MONTEJO
12.MONDAY EVENING LA VAQUERIA
Palacio Municipal on the Calle 62 side of the Main Plaza. 9 PM.
13.TUESDAY EVENING
Santiago Park on the corner of Calle 59 and 72, 8:30 PM.
14.WEDNESDAY EVENING
Each week there are different presentations at the Olimpo Cultural Center on Calle 62 corner with 61 of the Main Plaza at 9 PM.
15.THURSDAY EVENING
This traditional and popular Serenade at Sta. Lucia Park has been running for the past 40 years. This open-air concert in the lovely park features Yucatecan dress, dance, music and folklore.
Calle 60 by 55 at 9 PM.
16.UNIVERSITY SERANADE
This Friday night event is held in the main University building on the corner of Calle 60 and 57, 9 PM.
17.MERIDA ENGLISH LANGAGE LIBRARY
Stop by the library, grab a book or magazine and enjoy the backyard patio. While this is a membership library, drop-ins are welcome to browse and enjoy the books.

18.NOCHE MEXICANAM
Saturday night is a busy night with two fiestas atmospheres! noche Mexicana in the park at the base of the Paseo Montejo and Calle 47 is where you will find free live music, food booths, crafts, and dance. 8 pm.
19.CORAZON DE MERIDA
Heart of Merida is a great festival around the Main Plaza and Calles 60 and 62 up to Calle 53 on Saturday nights from 8:30 PM to 1 AM.
During this festival, the streets are closed off to traffic, there are three strategically placed bands, and the restaurants put chairs and tables in the streets cafe style.
There are also stilt-walkers, Mariachis, street vendors with crafts and food. This's a must on a Saturday night!
20.MERIDA EN DOMINGO
Merida on Sunday is an outdoor handcraft market and food festival on the Main Plaza, and up Calle 60 to Hidalgo Park and Santa Lucia Park- streets are closed, live music 9 AM-9 PM. It could be said that this is a continuation of the Saturday night event as it is in the same area.
