[稅務] 關於申請稅號(TFN=Tax File Number )在澳洲入境後才能申請稅號!還在台灣的人不用試了!

其實當初我是去tax office直接申請的
隔天就開始去打工的地方上班了
如果你已經找到工作卻還沒拿到Tax File Number
就跟老闆說已經申請了...the letter is on the way.
不過...
當然是最好要有TFN啦....

你們好,我想請教一下,
1)若原本在布里斯本申請稅號,但之後搬到雪梨或墨爾本時,還要在當地另外申請新的稅號嗎?(我是聽說申請稅號時,要有居住的地址,但若是住址改變了,是不是還要另外申請稅號?
2)申請稅號一定在當地的税務局才可以申請嗎?若稅務局離居住的地方很遠,那不是很麻煩嗎?
3)若買旅支去澳洲時,是要將所有的旅支存入開戶的銀行,還是存入一些旅支,而另一些旅支則隨身攜帶?隨身帶著旅支會不會不安全?

後來發現 原來我的澳洲簽證在舊護照上
而新護照的號碼和舊護照不同
一開始我以為要填上 入境的護照號碼
試了幾次 最後用舊護照號碼申請 就通過了

I think you have to be in Australia to apply.

我在2/20利用網路申請TFN
結果我在2/27打電話回我之前住的backpacker她就跟我說收到了....
當初有前輩說書面申請可能需要一個月的時間...
所以我是建議用線上申請會比較快唷~~~^^

我二月初就要過去了，有看到可以線上申請稅號，線上申請只的是人要到了澳洲才能線上申請嗎，還是在台灣就可以？另，申請的網址是？

Of course you can apply on line in Taiwan, but you must have an address in Australia because the TFN will be sent to that address.
You have to have a connect number as well.
I applied the TFN in the Taxion Office in Melbourne.
They will teach you how to complete the form if you don't have a fix address. Just pick the number 7 days to 10 days after you applied in the office.
