我剛到雪梨不久 但是想先把一些重要的事情提供給剛來澳洲的人
懂得不多 先拋磚引玉 望其他大大提供一些細節
1.工作：雪梨的工作哪裏有？華人還是西方人?哪種廣告是陷阱是色情？
電話面試如何應答？
（華人屬週末的澳洲新報最多工作也最急，需星期六早上買了就打，最好九點以後再打，因為有些人還
在睡。）
（按摩廣告大多為色情，尤其強調非色情者，請千萬不要試試看，因為他會把你先騙進去再説。）
（一些標榜學生工的，時薪有十幾塊的，多看看幾天報紙，可發現同支電話與地址，那就是仲介，請不
要去，他只會叫你先交保證金，然後就叫你等，但是通常沒下落的。）
2.食：雪梨哪裏有便宜貨？蔬菜肉魚？想吃道地中國菜哪裏好吃？
3.住：雪梨市區郊區租金該是多少範圍？哪區較安全？注意是否為二房東？
4.行：雪梨市區郊區巴士火車如何坐才省錢？
以上有些答案可能很多人都知道，請大大們把您所經歷的寶貴經驗告訴我們，
讓一些迷途羔羊走得順暢一點。可以直接回覆在網路上，然後我會再找時間整理給大家。

已經連續兩起華人女子被殺事件，
想盡一份棉薄之力幫助剛到雪梨的台灣同胞。
會來澳洲打工渡假，想必理由跟大家很相近啦，

本來沒有的偷拐搶騙現在也不得不出沒在你想不到的地方。
本來很多的好工作，現在也都慢慢消失羅，
大家人人自危，尤其是自己人會坑自己人才痛心。
我看大陸人都欺負自己大陸人，不希望台灣人也學過去啦～～
想趁大家都還很單純沒心機的時候，趕快拉你一把～～
尤其是女生，這裡的陷阱很多啊！！
很怕台灣女性同胞被拐走，也怕租屋區選擇不洽當而處在危險境況。
所以想安排一個主題 如何在雪梨安全求生存？
希望能拋磚引玉，有更多的過來人提出建議與資訊，

The below is some information according to my previous experience and hope that people find it helpful. Sorry that I have to apologise that if I type in Chinese this is gonna take me for more than two hours and English is much easier for me. I hope you guys don't mind.
Job:
Usually you don't find OZ company advertise in Chinese newspaper unless is through the agency. If you are looking for the proper job here, it will take you 1 to 3 months from applying till you hear from the job, which is not suitale for people with WHV. If you are looking for hospitality jobs, Saturday Sydney Morning Herald is the best newspaper to get. Daily Telegraph suits people for factory work or gain work through OZ agency. Australian is best suited for professionals and high end jobs. Usually, the hospitality jobs are the easiest ones to get and hear back the quickest. The boss will tell you yes or no in the interview, but they are the lowest paid jobs as well. You should start with the jobs around to where you live.
Food:
Eating out is quite expensive here, especially restaurants. Having a decent meals with a group people in a nice, not top restaurant will cost you about 30 and over per person. Having meals in food court is costly too. It usually cost about 7-10 dollars per meal. The best and cheapest way is to cook for yourself. As for material, Asian grocery shop is usually much cheaper than OZ supermarket such as Woolworths and Coles. Meat is quite expensive too. Asian Butcher is cheaper, however, the quality is not as good as OZ butcher. I think the cheapest meal is at China town where you can get lunch for 5 dollars. Or you can go to the food court around 4pm where the food will be packed and reduced. Those are good for dinner, but no good for the next day as the food will be out in the bamarin for a long time.
Rental:
Usually, people renting through real estate agent and agent give landlord the rent. And agent deals wit all the problems of the rental property. If you are paying the rent to another person rather than real estate agent, you are more likely having second landloard.
The availability of the rental property is low at the moment, less than 1%, so the rent is quite high and hard to get the rental property, unless you have stable jobs and have good rental record. The average rental price outside Sydney CBD area varies from 280 to 450 for 2 bedroom units depending on the suburbs and surroundings.
Generally speaking, Unit is safer than townhouse and toen house is safer than house.
Transportation:
If you have just arrived and started to look for jobs, it will be better to get travel pass for a week as you will be doing a bit travelling. Once you land yourself a job, you can buy weekly train ticket and travel 10 for buses or color passes.
