不知道這些教堂在哪裡
或是有哪些單位可免費或低收費教英文

之前在BNE有許多的教會有免費英文課程;不知在雪梨這裡是否也有?
PS:我住北邊的Lane Cove那一區
目前還在找工作及摸熟路況的JOY……:-D

對免費英文課程有興趣的人~以下是我收集到的相關訊息!
雖然就免費課程~但有些仍會收取每月10~50元不等的教材費或管理費
以下~就是傑瑞這兩個禮拜來, 在雪梨亂晃找到免費課程!
1. UTS:INSEARCH / UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY SYDNEY
2008年的課已經快結束了, 所以並不再收學生! 現在去都是2009的課程可以挑
但也不是去報名就可以有課可以上, 也是要排隊的, 幸運的話~你才有機會上課!
報名表上沒有寫價錢, 但聽說是一個月10元!! 以下是報名表上的資訊:
FREE ENGLISH LESSONS
Thank you for your interest in fre English lessons, Which are offered at Insearch
as part of our Teacher Training program. This is our program for 2009.
5 January - 30 January 2009 (1.30pm - 3.30pm, Mon - Fri)
17 March - 21 May 2009 (7am - 9am, Tue and Thur evening)
29 June - 24 July 2009 (1.30pm - 3.30pm, Mon - Fri)
8 September - 12 November (7am - 9am, Tue and Thur evening)
16 November - 11 December 2009 (1.30pm - 3.30pm, Mon - Fri)
4 January - 29 January 2010 (1.30pm - 3.30pm, Mon - Fri)
IMPORTANT: We might not have a class suitable for your level. Before the course we
will contact you. If you have any questions, please call:92188646, or fax 92114334.
Please return the bottom part of this form to: Studnet Services, Ground Floor, 10
Quay Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000. (Corner of Quay and Valentine Streets).
2. IH / International House Sydney
這裡每個月都有開課~但日期不確定, 只能等通知, 一個月50澳幣
每個星期二和星期四早上十點和下午三點都有Speaking Test
他們會依照你的測驗結果來分班, 然後把你的名字放到Waiting List
至於要排多久, 好運, 兩個禮拜就有課上, 壞運, 等三個月都有可能!
以下是報名單上資訊:
Morning Class 9am-11:30am Mon-Fri (4 weeks)
Elementary/Pre-Intermediate/Intermediate
Afteroon Class 2:45pm-4:45pm Mon-Fri (4 weeks)
Elementary/Pre-Intermediate/Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate
Evening Class 5:45pm-8pm Tue&Thur (9 weeks)
Pre-Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate
AFTER THE TEST JOIN A WAITING LIST:
Put your name and phone number on a waiting list for the class.
The waiting list is between 2 weeks to 3 month.
When there is class we will send an sms (text message).
GET AN SMS/JOIN THE CLASS:
When you get an sms come to school and enrol.
Pay $50 administration fee (non refundable). Agree to the school rules.
Get an ID card for your class. START YOUR CLASS!!!
MORE INFORMATION:
.Receive an Internation House Certificate of Attainment if you come to 80% of your lessons.
.You can join the next course if you come to 80% of your lessons.
.If you do not come 80% of the time you will lose your place on the course.
.You need to be 18+ years of age. You do not need a student visa or permanent residency to join.
.Your lessons are taught bye teachers in training.
.You must follow school rules.

3. ATTC / Australian TESOL Training Centre (與ACE是在一起的)
這裡去了也只是把名字和電話寫在Waiting List上, 只能等通知, 但完全免費

Important: Student must have a basic level of English
AFTERNOON CLASS: Mon-Fri 3pm-5pm / Elementary & Intermediate levels
EVENING CLASS: Mon&Web 6pm-8pm / Pre-Intermediate & Upper Intermediate levels
These are special classes taught bye our trainee teachers.
If you are interested in these classes, please call us on 9389 0249

4. Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre
這是一個社區活動中心的免費英文課教學, 那天去參觀時, 只有六個學生
教的是很基礎的英文, 一個月10元, 今年的課程已經快結束了, 要等到新年後才有再開課
隨時都可以加入課程, 即便課程已經開始幾天或一兩個禮拜了! 只要去, 就可以參加!
老師上課會發講義。教學的方式蠻像在教小朋友的! (個人認為啦)
Address: Community Hall, 320 Riley St, Surry Hills (Central車站，出站後在東邊的方向, 來到Elizabeth St.
會看對面有條Foveaux St. 然後一直直走,然後再Riley St 左轉, 不到五十公尺就會看到320號了)

這是在Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre佈告欄上看到的
算是一個成人教學中心, 完全免費, 沒有詳細資訊, 附上照片一張參考!
