This is an illegal rate for the job that you are working, your normal pay (as a shop assistant who's age over 18years old) should be about $17.59 (Casual ) Part time about $ 14,85 ( less than 38 hrs per week ) and Full time about $ 14,85 ( more than 38 hours per week) After that, for the F/P time worker, you should have a whole week break after you work there for 3 months time. This is only a draft, please visit google to searching the latest rates from Australia government. Also, you could ask your employer to pay you the difference if they didn't pay you the right rates while you are helping them... There are lots of penalty for them not doing the right payment to the workers..... (O)
