英國打工度假 info

最近有台灣籍的友人成功地申請到了英國打工度假簽證，來到了英國找工作。我也有朋友是紐西蘭國籍的台灣人一開始先在英國工作了一年多，透過雇主成功地申請到了英國技術移民簽證，接著居留了下來。同時也看到了網路上非常多的部落格、網頁、網站、論壇、臉書社群在熱烈的討論該不該到英國打工度假，有些讀者問我現在的英國就業市場好不好找工作、來遊學或打工要準備多少錢、英文不夠好會不會找不到工作。我必須先申明，英國剛剛宣布進入了double dip recession，連續兩個季度都出現了負成長的GDP。

工作真的不好找，無論是有當地碩士文憑的當地白人、有當地碩士文憑的外國人（所有人種，包括世界各地的白人）、或者是有當地工作經驗的當地白人和外國人，每一個類型的專業人士都面對了同樣無情冷峻的挑戰。雖然如此，倫敦充滿了近一千萬人的國際大城市，我看到相當多不同的例子。有多位朋友在沒有當地的文憑的相對『不具優勢』情況下，找到了好工作，長居了下來。有多位朋友既有當地的高等文憑，但是找工作不順利，已經在英國找工作找了七、八個月了。也有多位朋友有當地的高等文憑，卻當了七、八個月的實習生，有工作之實，卻沒有薪水、做白工。我在倫敦工作三年，讀書一年，總共四年，資歷不算豐富，但樂於在此分享一些微薄的英國工作經驗。

Absolutely agree with U, the lack of job vacancies situation here are serious. Just remind them better take deep consider before coming. However, personally believe it is not a good ideal to find job UK due to the economy forecast are not optimism.:\'(

直接到公司要求面試?你所指的公司是哪一種?不過我想直接到公司要求面試只有餐廳、酒吧 或是賣東西行得通吧! 這應該只有服務業可以直接到公司要求面試

I am working in fashion industry with experience in design and development. Also have costume tailor-making experience before in Hong Kong. Is it difficult to get the job like I did?

Well not sure wat U mean, but it subject to wat position U r expect to. If U prefer vacancy such as designer, it will be quite tough. Coz the labour cost is relative high, most of apparel factories are gone or out sourcing to Asia. On contrary if u just looking for a shop cashier would be much more easier.

I just mean I hope I can work in a fashion industry. I know that hard And really sure if I am looking for a shop cashier or other server industry is much more easier.
So, just have a ask to get a hope.:) anyway, million thanks for your information .
