THAI Smile to launch service on 01-Jul-2012 with services to Kaohsiung, Shenzhen, Macau and Surabaya
Thai Airways confirmed (Mar-2012) THAI Smile’s first flight will commence on 01-Jul-2012 after receiving its first brand new aircraft in Jun-2012 and commencing ticket sales on 01-Apr-2012. Thai Smile's first routes will be from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to Kaohsiung, Shenzhen, Macau and Surabaya, with Phuket to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Chang Mai to follow. The carrier is scheduled to operate a fleet of four aircraft in 2012, increasing to six in 2013, eight in 2014 and 11 in 2015. This 11 aircraft fleet will be maintained through 2018. Nok Air, 49% owned by Thai Airways, will continue to operate domestic point-to-point services from Bangkok Don Mueang to 18 points across the country.

應該是嫌賺得不夠多吧.. 把飛機飛其他賺錢的線...之前載客率平均都有七成
但營業額提不上來。
都是促銷票，免費票再撐場面。
載客率那是假象，廉價航空沒賺錢就砍航線。
那是合理的，出來作生意就是講求利潤。
哪有花錢在做慈善生意。
家家有本難念的經，哪有賺錢航線還會去砍它。
那回家吃老本就好。
先祝福那條航線賺錢吧!

Our fist destination will be Macau, twice daily from 7 July this year.
Then the first destination will be one of the tourist destination in
southern Thailand. Our website will be launch next month after
Songkran (Thai New Year).
Japan, Korea would be a little too far for A320. But we are very much
interested in Kaohsiung and Luang Prabang. We will work on that when
we get more aircraft, probably around mid next year.

應該是經過澳門，不會高雄直飛曼谷。
亞航曼谷~台北直飛都撐不下去。
就事實推演，高雄人不要罵我喔!
但還是好事一樁。
至少曼谷到高雄比桃園省油，機場不容易起霧
高雄到澳門接客再到曼谷這樣也行。

希望明年可以真的看到Thai Smile開拓曼谷-澳門-高雄, 其中曼谷到澳門已於今年7月開航.
多一條新航線對台灣南部民眾也多一個選擇機會. 不必老往桃園或松山機場搭機.
