you can go google search just type"selfcatering paris",there will be lots of information.I don't think it will be expensive,you need a lot of time to find a good apartment,I can find an apart just 450 euro per month.But I chose to rent an apart from a Taiwan student,nice.clean.good area,just few steps from Alliance Francaise,and there has many coffe shops all night long,if you need his email,just tell me.
By the way,be ware of the service fees and clean fees before you rent an apart,it could be much expensive than the rental.
