From Koeln to Paris by train only Thalys, actually depends if you change the train in Brussel or not, if YES, than after Brussel is Eurostar train.
I don't know how much you have to pay if you use the Railway Pass for Thalys, but for Eurostar, the railway pass is only to give you the discount, not to pay the trian ticket. you may find the infos on Thayls website.
Another example, we tried to book Thalys last month, it costed around 130euros just from Brussel to Paris, so we have to book another ticket from Koeln to Brussel.

from Koeln to Paris via Bruxelles, should be Thalys all the way. The Eurostar depart from Bruxelles is going to London.
