充電型旅行，馬來西亞檳城之旅
出發目的地：檳城是雅虎旅遊網頁所推薦全球10個一生中必游島嶼之一，排名第8名，以及也是大馬唯一上榜的島嶼。

檳城歷史與文化資產:
在馬來語中檳城稱為檳榔嶼，這是因為早期島上遍植檳榔樹而得此名。1786年8月11日，英國東印度公司的代表，法蘭西斯•萊特船長，從吉打蘇丹取得檳島，並命名其為威爾斯王子島，把登陸地稱為喬治市，爾後成為檳城的首府。檳城因此成為英國最早在遠東殖民的貿易自由港。喬治市於2008年7月7日與馬六甲正式登入聯合國教科文組織之世界文化遺產清單中。

因為平價機票，遇上工作旺季，所以只可放假三天，但還是決定出發充充電。> <

朋友在面說聽說我要去檳城旅行，所以想與我同行，但她先到吉隆坡六天再坐車到檳城會合。
平價機票的時間，是在凌晨十二多才到達檳城機場，反正五點多我又要起床到喬治市和朋友會合，所以就在機場小睡了五個小時。
出發時沒什麼計劃，印象中就是果園、單車城市遊、人力車…可是我倆沒參加其中一項，沒足夠時間是其中理由。
檳城bus四通八達，我倆三天都是坐bus遊檳城，車速慢，但比較安全。
每天都往檳城最主要的bus station光大（Komtar）轉車，大部份bus都在那個車站發出、停站。
檳城很多華人，很多時國語也能通。

升旗山，位在島嶼中部，檳城的主要山麓有西山，虎山，草莓山，是當地居民避暑聖地，西山主峰高830米為檳城至高點。由於昔日英國高官多居住於此，山下士兵利用旗語傳遞重要訊息，此乃升旗山名稱之由來。我倆選擇乘搭纜車，或沿着纜車軌道旁的小徑及梯級徒步而上，一面運動、一面欣賞隱藏在升旗山熱帶雨林內的奇花異草，沿途並可俯覽喬治市的壯麗景色。

檳城國家公園（Penang National Park）

強烈推介，雖然從光大車站搭了兩個多小時到達，但景色優美。建議參團，因為公園很大，沒船有些地方不能一天內到達，而且團費不貴。

日本鬼節，很多日本人專程暑期到檳城參加祭典，又有煙火，又有表演，又有很多東西吃(重點)。

戰爭博物館，就在機場旁，打車約二十分鐘左右，博物館有晚間活動，不過日間參觀，本人也覺滿陰森。

我下年也會到馬來西亞，但只是在隆坡轉機和逛逛。檳城這島本身就很美，加上廉價機票，廉價食宿，美麗海灘，美麗的日出日落，友善的當地人，如果有機會，我也會再到檳城逛逛和踏單車。:)
