hello everyone :
im in holland now. I would like to go from Amsterdam to Antwerpen and travel from there to Brugge and Brussles .
How can we use the local transportation?
Does anyone have a good suggestion for a cheap place to stay near the trainstations or city centers?
Or any suggestions about places we should visit next to those places.
We want to travel there from 17 oct.

Since you are in Holland, why not go to local information center? I think they will give you lots of information. Don't forget to use them!! :-D

You can take Euroline bus from Amsterdam to Brussles (they stop Antwerpen).
From Brussles to Brugge taking train is the best choice.
In Brussles you can stay at YH only 18 euro for one night.

I stayed in "Brussels-Generation Europe Youth Hostel" for two nights.
I didn't stay in Bugge and Anterpen. Because it's not far from Brussels. You can go and back in one day.
18 euro is for one dorm bed. How to "sleep well" depend on your roommate and yourself.
It's ok for me because it's cheap, or you can have ear plugs with you.

Glad to know that you are doing OK there!
I went to Brussels last year with three other travelmates for 4 days and visited actually some cities around, such as Brugge where hotels are mostly quite expensive.
We stayed at a 3-star hotel called Les Citadines for 75Euros. We had a 2-bedroom apartment and a small kitchen. Descent, quite and clean. If you are travelling with friends, you may consider this hotel!!

By the way, Europass is a good choice for people travel by train, but I don' know if you can buy this in Amsterdam.
I lived in B&B hotel in Brugge, named Bruggeman, it closed to Brugge train station. That is a good one.

We have also been to Luxemburg..
The youthhostel there is very modern and good.
from the trainstation Luxemburg we took bus line 9 (ask the driver he will know ) for €1,40 a person. U can also take a walk (its very pretty scenery) for 15 minutes.
We had a 4 person bedroom for us 2... perfect!!!!!!. :-D
We traveled Via the International train from Amsterdam to Brussels Nord... From Brussels nord to Luxemburg.
On our way back we stopped at Antwerpen and took a train from there to Brugge and back.

Just a bit late to get yr message and we were so worry that we couldnt find a decent place to stay while that time. Luckly, this 3 yh we've stayed are all clean and quiet !! Maybe we could try the one you mention next time !!
