日本租車如何租用ETC CARD??

今天ToCoo Car Rental Customer Support這樣回覆了我,原來只有這麼少的地方可以租到.

為什麼呢?我也很想知道.我認為多一點這樣的租車公司,自助遊的人數也許會更多.

We do not offer any rental service of ETC card.

Exceptionally, only Toyoya Sapporo, Nippon Hokkaido, Orix Hokkaido, Orix Chubu International Airport and Budget Kyusyu Car Rental offer ETC card to rent.

Only in case you rent from Toyoya Sapporo, Nippon Hokkaido, Orix Hokkaido, Orix Chubu International Airport or Budget Kyusyu, ETC card rental can be offered.
In this card rental,you should pay the total of the toll fee according the record of ETC card reader, when you return the car to the outlet

我今天有問過我上司為什麼全日本只有這麼少數的租車商有提供ETC卡。
因為基本上日本租車商認為外國人租車的數量不夠多
投資下去的配備也不一定會回本。
所以目前ToCoo所提供的ETC卡才會只有在重點區域。

最近幾次要利用都是4人同車
若搭車到可以借卡的地方又不划算了

以我的經驗，ETC的折扣比一般的便宜一半左右。

由其是是假日，全天都半價(Y)

TOYOTA的話，可以詢問當地分店，有些少數分店可以租借ETC卡，不過限原地租還！

toyota的關西機場分店 有提供免費ETC租借
但需要回到關西機場店還車
或者限 新大阪三國店 四ツ橋筋心齋橋 這兩個分店歸還才可以

記得ETC card在租車時也要事先預定
