一之湯品之木的取消政策

急問，爬文後我e-mail到箱根一之湯品之木訂房，回信很快，給一個訂房網頁，輸入信用卡號及金額0，也告知取消政策，如下：
With no notice (No show) :100% of total
Same day notice : 70% of total
Previous day notice : 50% of total
Two to Four days advance notice: 20% of total
5days prior notice with deposit: 1,000yen(Handling fee)

我不了解最後一個，5天前告知取消，要收1000yen手續費，是指從預訂確認後到住宿日前5天，這段期間取消要收手續費，也就是沒有免費取消的意思嗎?或是指從住宿日前第5天取消，才收手續費。信用卡交易金額0，要怎扣款?我有再e-mail問，也有回信，但不是很懂，如下：

..At the procedure of credit card transaction,
if you input "0(zero)"yen to only authorize your credit card,
the cancellation policy[5days prior notice with deposit] will be
not acceptable. Because there is no deposit in this case.

if you input some price of the total amount,
the price will be charged to your credit card at once
then we will receive it as your deposit.
After that, the cancellation policy[5days prior notice with deposit]
will be required after you made a transaction.

應該是如果信用卡本身有金額的話會自動過數，所以取消時要收手續費，但如果沒有的話便不用手續費吧？所以信用卡沒存錢進去的話便是五天前免費取消，有存錢便要收1000手續費。
