How to cancel booking at Jalan ?

Dear Brothers / Sisters;

I have booked 2 rooms at Jalan and the check-in date is 10 April. I wished to cancel but it failed. I am able to do some other cancellations or amendment before.

My friend told me that if under 14 days from the check in day, 10 April, I cannot do the cancellation at jalan www directly but must do via telephone.

Is it true and which telephone no. could communicate with them ? Can English work ? Can I write to Jalan/direct to hotel to cancel ? How can I do if I cannot speak Jap ?
