Leandro來阿根廷23年多了，最吸引我的地方莫過於西北高原區(Salta, Jujuy, Catamarca, La Rioja)。

從2002年開始，2003年，2004年，2006年到2009年，總共自行開車去西北高原區旅行 / 度假 / 拍照了5次。

為什麼要自行開車呢？就為了能夠認識傳統路線以外的地方，當然，這個選擇是正確的。

所以開這篇來分享這多年來的西北高原區之旅。

之所以會5次到西北高原區旅遊，我承認是受到我所屬的Foto Club Tigre會長Ricardo López（E-FIAP, SFA)相當大的影響。

Ricardo López已經到西北高原區拍照20次了（每次開車來回加上拍照至少要8-10天），他擅長的題材是人物寫實及環境人像，拍這些題材就讓我想到在台灣拍攝原住民。

記得1998-1999年時有到旅行社詢問到西北高原區的Case，由於當時阿幣與美金的匯率仍然是1：1，所以團費相當貴，飛機團七天六夜每人要七百多阿幣（美金），我們全家四個人的團費+雲頂火車的車票+餐飲+雜七雜八費用，我想大概要花個3500-4000阿幣（美金）。在這麼貴的費用下，當然沒去了，沒想到卻造成日後的緣分。

在2002年時雖然我已經在阿根廷住了16年，但是一直沒有機會去體驗高原區的生活(西北高原區不是傳統旅遊路線)，經由Ricardo López的解說，我和家人在7月份寒假時驅車前往西北高原區。

2002年7月，阿根廷剛發生經濟風暴沒多久(六個多月)，由於阿幣貶值的關係，人民的收入以美金來衡量的話一下子縮水了70％以上(阿幣由1：1一下子貶到1：3.70左右)，但是旅遊費用以美金來算的話變的相當便宜。這次的旅遊我與家人以很經濟的方式來玩，12天下來只花了1200阿幣，才$325美金左右，一萬出頭台幣，跟當初1：1時代的飛機團團費差了10倍。

在寫這篇遊記的時候，看到了當時拍的照片，一些旅遊的記憶深刻的出現在腦海，似乎又去舊地重遊了一趟。

Buenos Aires的緯度應該類似江蘇/上海吧？當然熱帶的叢林及寄生在樹木上的蕨類植物不多，甘蔗就更不用說了。

由Buenos Aires往西北行，路邊的景觀也漸漸的不同，慢慢的由彭巴草原的滿地綠油油牧草及牛羊，經由乾旱區及沼澤，到了Santiago de Estero省及Tucumán省就可以看到到處都是甘蔗田（好像回到台灣的感覺耶），溫度也比Buenos Aires來得高。後來在Rio Hondo溫泉時，我跟老婆還到市集喝了杯現榨的甘蔗汁，真棒！那是Buenos Aires喝不到的喔。

快到Santiago de Estero時，在公路邊發現了一個木炭窯，就停車下去看看吧！

離開磚窯後，到Santiago de Estero省的Rio Hondo溫泉住了兩天，享受溫泉假期。

雖然泡著溫泉，但是心裡對西北高原區充滿著憧憬，想著過兩天就可以進入高原區了。

Santiago de Estero是個貧窮的省分，又相當的髒亂，讓我對這個省相當沒好感。該省最大的收入在於Rio Hondo溫泉區的觀光及甘蔗，可是離開溫泉區不到5公里就可以看到一大片的垃圾山了。

回到Rio Hondo溫泉，公園邊有位婦人正在編著鹹草做的籃子。

離開Rio Hondo溫泉，經由Tucumán到Tafí de Valle（海拔兩千多公尺）的山路上，有一段是亞熱帶叢林的地理環境，老實說實在很像溪頭附近的環境。

當離開Tafí de Valle往Amaicha De Valle前進幾公里後，環境越來越乾燥，開始有西北高原區的味道出來了。

記得當看到第一棵仙人掌時那種興奮的心情，在台灣出生成長的我們早已習慣綠油油的環境，高原/沙漠及仙人掌對我們來說是陌生的。第一棵仙人掌謀殺了我將近20張的底片，可是再過幾公里後就是滿山的仙人掌了，回想起來在第一顆仙人掌前狂拍20張實在有點好笑。

離開San Carlos後就開始是泥土碎石路了，也陸續可以看到牧羊人。

從Cafayate到Cachi近兩百公里的40號公路幾乎都是泥土碎石路，加上又是山路，路況也相當不好。但是有幾個小村莊卻讓我留下深刻的印象，純樸的人們，歷盡滄桑的臉，純真的孩童.....。

以前開車都是盡量開柏油路，開了這趟Cafayate到Cachi的泥土碎石山路後，讓我連續多年都會每年開上個1000-2000公里的泥土碎石路，也難為了Toyota Corolla Terra Diesel，那麼低的底盤卻跑了那麼多的山路，甚至在2003年還爬上海拔4300公尺的山上（翻山越嶺，爬山涉水，過溪的時候還會把水面的薄冰壓碎）。

這個小村莊讓我印象深刻，話說當天早上在Cafayate買了三明治及飲料上路，抵達Angostaco時是中午午餐時刻，我們就在公園裡野餐了。

由於西北高原區不是傳統的旅遊路線，Cafayate到Cachi近兩百公里的路況又是相當差，所以平時遊客就相當稀少了，加上我們這種東方臉，對當地人來說更是希罕。公園就在一間小學的對面，那時候小朋友剛放學，結果我們旁邊就吸引了不少小朋友，對我們這些東方臉孔的人深感好奇。

Catalina玩水玩得相當愉快。

高原區氣候乾燥，早晚的溫差也相當大，清晨可能是零下好幾度，下午時可能達到30多度。我們穿衣服的方式是像"洋蔥"般，先穿短袖的T恤，再來是長袖的棉布T恤或是襯衫，之後是小背心，然後是毛衣跟夾克。

雖然早晚的溫差那麼大，可是卻不會覺得特別冷也不會覺得特別熱，因為氣候乾燥。這三次的冬季旅遊遇到好幾次零下數度，擋風玻璃及後面的玻璃都結冰的狀況，可是一件外套就OK了，回到Buenos Aires後，雖然近10度卻感到比較冷，因為Buenos Aires的濕氣較大。

一些餐廳都會在晚餐時請一些當地的樂師來餐廳駐唱（這到有點像台灣早期的餐廳秀），節目的內容都是跟西北的民謠，這次的旅遊我才知道"老鷹之歌"是阿根廷西北部的民謠(El Condor pasa)，而不是美國西部民謠。

離開Cachi前往Salta。這條公路還是碎石路，其中會經過這趟旅遊的最高點：海拔3348公尺，當然這跟2003年的海拔4300公尺比起來又差了1000公尺了。

開了幾天碎石路，車子都是泥灰，到Salta時該好好洗車了。

由於到處都是仙人掌，連招牌都用仙人掌的木材來製作。

風塵僕僕的抵達Salta後，馬上去洗車，洗完後留在地上的泥巴多得可怕，也發現左前輪的胎壓不正常，趕快開到輪胎店檢查。原來輪胎刺到一個尖螺絲，補完胎沒事了，還好是在都市發現，不然如果在山上的碎石路換輪胎一定是滿身土。

在Salta停留了兩天，老實說，剛從純樸的山區回來，對都市實在沒什麼興趣。

前幾天從Cafayata走40號公路（很爛的碎石路）到Cachi，之後從Cachi到Salta的路也是好不到那裡去，但是卻有最純樸的人情味。 Salta還有一條柏油公路通Cafayate，我們在Salta休息兩天後走這條柏油公路回Cafayate，從地圖來看正好走了一個三角形（Cafayate - Cachi - Salta - Cafayate）。

2002年的西北高原區之旅是第一次，也是印象最深刻的一次。Cafayate到Cachi的40號公路，雖然路很爛，要翻山涉水（一些路段必須涉溪而過），但是那裡純樸的人們卻讓我永難忘懷，這也促使我在2003及2004年也連續兩年及2006 / 2009年在寒假到西北高原區旅遊拍照。

這是一個山谷底往上爬坡的路段，400mm望遠鏡頭壓縮了畫面，耐心的等待車輛的經過（高山上等待車子不是三分鐘五分鐘就可以等到的），雖然不是什麼好作品，但是等待的結果是值回票價了。

Iruya位於阿根廷西北部靠近玻利維雅附近的Salta省，但是卻必須經由Jujuy省翻山越嶺才能抵達。

這條到Iruya的路約70公里，但是因為路況不好（都是石頭路，而且必須過溪涉水），所以我開了約4個小時才到達，當時我開的還是Toyota Corolla，一些朋友對於 Corolla能開到Iruya感到不可思議。

Iruya的婦女跟小女生（不是擺拍喔！），當地的原住民跟玻利維亞人長的很像，都是高原區的原住民。

牧羊女 I

為什麼說是牧羊女呢？因為那裡牧羊人幾乎全部都是女性，強烈的陽光，非常乾燥的氣候加上早晚極大的溫差，牧羊女的外觀都比實際年齡來得蒼老。

這張照片是在公路旁拍的，掉了葉子的樹木在逆光下有種半透明的味道而在遠山的陰影下顯得凸出，加上牧羊女，綿羊及木欄，形成了一幅優美的畫面。

也是看到畫面後馬上停車拍照，前後過程不到一分鐘。
