Going to M. America, pls help with ticket problem

Is there anyone who can answer me the question below --
1. Is there any transport way from Dominican to Guatemala?
2. by boat or by air, each around how much dollars?
3. after dominican and guatemala, i want to go to peru, is there any transportation way, besies all the way taking the bus to Peru,
if there is any, how much money and how much time it takes?

BTW, I am in SouthEast Asia(Arond Thailand, now in Cambodia) at this moment, and planning to go to Middle and South America directly from Bangkok next month.
I am buging the tickets directly from bangkok. and the cheapest ticket and my only way without applying any other VISAs to Middle and Sounth America is flying to Dominican (around 699 US dollars). That's why I am so nagging.

Dominican Republic or Dominica?
If you mentioned Dominican Republic, the air ticket from Santo Domingo to Guatemala City is about $607(one way), which you have to transfer in Panama City.
From Guatemala City to Lima is about $639, by air of course(one way).
Another choice is to buy the Multi-city tickets, from Santo Domingo to Guatemala City then to Lima is about $1213, only slightly cheaper than the above.

I guess there is only one way.......via air!
Also because there is only one tiny port called Rio Dulce, which is the only city facing Caribbean.
The probability to travel acorss Caribbean is quite low for you.
