老闆人不錯,但會推銷他的行程,可以斟酌一下,如果確定要去,記得請老闆把要去的點寫下,以免司機亂載,或是根本沒去.
頂樓餐廳可以看到Lake Pichola,部份房間也可以看到,雖可先預訂,但最好前一天再打電話確認一下

原本我也打算去Taj Lake Palace吃午餐
查到最近的一次
費用已經漲到午餐2500,晚餐3000Rp
但是後來查到有人說現在改為住房的人才能用餐
我不死心直接用電話卡從台灣打過去
接電話的人說一定要住房的人才可以在那裡用餐
午餐晚餐甚至是Bar都只有房客才能使用
天那
想花3000多塊去那裡吃飯的機會都沒有8o|
想被人家"靴"一頓都不行

Just want say Davi Garh is much much much better, the view is wonderful. Not sure if you can book it for meal if you don't stay there. If you go there, book the "balcony with mirrors", you will not regret. I visited the whole hotel but can book it since it's full!!!! Go go go!!! even their website can't show 10% of its beauty!!!!!!

Just want say Davi Garh is much much much better, the view is wonderful. Not sure if you can book it for meal if you don't stay there. If you go there, book the "balcony with mirrors", you will not regret. I visited the whole hotel but can book it since it's full!!!! Go go go!!! even their website can't show 10% of its beauty!!!!!!

even one person is ok la, please eat my share and don't forget to share your photos with me when you're back!!!! BTW, it's better if you can have dinner at the mirror balcony, ppl there told me that the candles reflecting lighter all over the ceiling, with Lake Picola and the hills all around. If budget ok, I strong recommend you to stay there and you can swim in the green marble pool, and have a great morning facing the beautiful hill looking over the lake!!!
BTW, if you plan to go to jodpur, I will suggest you to book a car and visit Ranapur too, it's so great, I spent almost 2 hours there sitting on the floor and take a lot of great photos.....
Route: Jodphur - Ranakpur - Devi Garh - Udaipur (and the car is not expensive at all, not quite remember it's around USD40 or 70 for such a long distance??? Have to check back, or you can check my post to Ranapur under the India forum here...)

Wow~ So sweet you are~bbb! Thanks for your advice! It sounds quite nice! Actually, I have no ideas about how Ranakpur looks like...I'll check this place on the internet. According to my original schedule, I was supposed to have one day in Jodhpur and be leaving at 2200 by night bus to Udaipur. Besides, I think it might be kind of make up to have meal at Devi Garh due to the rejection of reservation of Lake Palace. It seems that I'll have a plenty of time to enjoy the atomosphere in Udaipur if I follows your schedule. (My former one is : Reach Udaipur by night bus at 0530> have lunch at Devi Garh>PM7 enjoy the show of Indian dance at Bagore-Ki-Haveli, And take Jetairways at 1350 back to Delhi on the second day in udaipur)
Also, the guide book mentions that there are abundant of sightseeing sites in Udaipur, it might be worthy to take your recommendation, although it will costs more money:-P My economic situation is ok to rent a car I think. ( I have already saved lots of money on airtickets because I work for airlines :P)
Umm, I'm afraid that I don't know how to swim although I have many swimming suits and bikini(H) So that's impossible to do the poetic swimming in Lake Picola. What a Shame:-(

I heard that the bus is really a tough one from Jodphur to Udaipur... You can see some of the pics from my web (through only little pics but no description at that time) at

BTW, if cost is not concern, strongly recommend to book a car, it's very clean and you can take good rest on the car, and if you can stay at devi garh, the car can drive you there (it's on hill top!!!) and before you arrive the hotel, you can ask the driver to drop you to visit one of the very famous temple nearby (I forget the name but there is only one, it's just around 10 mins by car next to Devi garh)
For Ranapur, it's one of best temple I'm amazed of (it's the key spot, pls note it opens at noon), so peaceful and so beautiful, and it's a relative big one.
For Udaipur, don't miss the City Palace especially having a drink during sunset, so one day is surely not enough!!!
BTW, I think the Lake Palace is good enough to take picture from outside....

Umm, I'll just follow what you said to book a car from Jodhpur to Udaipur and stop in Ranakpur in the midway. I checked the photos and also your video (why is your video so professional?)on the internet, Oh my dear~ that's a marvelous temple! I can imagine visiting Ranapur in Saree :P
Besides, I just got bad news....Devi garh replied my email about asking the seat at balcony with mirrior. The rate is INR 3700 +12.5% taxes per person. Other normal seat is just INR 1300 + 12 .5 % taxes per person. So I would take the seat of 3700 with Tax next time (maybe my honeymoon:P) I think only one person to have too luxury meal would be too sad because I can't share my feelings at that moment.
