[Melbourne - Avalon] 週邊交通好像沒有 Melbourne 國際機場方便,那邊有shuttle bus 和taxi....到Melbourn downtown
是否應該多付$50/p 飛到Melbourne機場 而非Melbourne - Avalon
不知道有沒有人可以回答我的問題....

Does anyone know what the Indian Pacific train supply? Do they have hot water? I want to bring some instant noodles to eat. And can I take a shower in the train? And can I charge my battery? Do they have plug?

基於安全考量(官方說法)，火車上不提供熱開水，但是有一個簡單的餐車... 有提供一些微波食品跟簡單的簡餐，單價沒有特別高，但是品質不怎樣...
要省錢的話，很多背包客都會自己準備食物吧，長程的火車可能麵包+水果之類的會比較適合，我撘過幾次長程的火車，大部分會買超市的6個袋裝麵包
在broken hill，adelaide，kalgoorie都會停2個小時以上，有機會可以稍微補充一些食物
車上有shower跟大浴巾，也有熱水，不過大概是使用的人沒有很多，撘了幾次都沒遇到水用完的狀況
規定是在車上不可使用插座，真的有需要可以考慮在幾個大站等待的時間在車站的後車大廳充電
但是其實撘火車最大的樂趣，除了窗外的景色變化，大概是因為大家都無聊吧！火車上滿容易可以跟陌生的朋友談天的，分享一些旅行經驗跟情報，甚至一起打個牌，聊個人生 . . . 這樣預料之外的相遇跟交流，才是旅行中最最最棒的紀念品

前天剛去買了大南方火車票，也訂了去柏斯來回的行程和付了錢，結果現在是每訂一"次"Overland(即墨爾本<--->阿德雷德)要多10元的booking fee，The Ghan和Indian Pacific則是每一"次"要加15元的booking fee，即使是到小站也是一樣，是算次的不是算距離的，所以假設從阿德雷德去達爾文中間完全不停是15元，如果中間停alice spring與katherine再到達爾文，則是45元，這是我門在墨爾本買票時售票人員問過主管後跟我們解釋過的，希望對想買票的人能提供一些資訊。

i don't feel the train is too boring as i travel with friend ..,and i like the shower there, really nice , hot water, strong water supply, many people takes shower, i took shower twice a day!!
That's why I traveled by GSR pass for over 12,000 km, around 10 nights on the train.
And even you travel alone, it's very easy to find other bored people to talk with. That's another great thing of traveling by train.

你是用網路定位的嗎？他沒有出現一個定位號碼之類的東西嗎？或是叫你說要多久以前去取票、付款、check in 嗎？
其實最快的方法是直接跑一趟火車站吧！直接問站務人員不是比較方便嗎？

我已經網路訂了，但現在有一個大麻煩就是我根本沒有印表機啊！不能印E-TICKET，要怎麼辦呢
