暢飲孤獨
平安回來囉!
經過24小時辛苦轉機，忍受飛機餐及各種香水味道侵襲，終於踏上動物所在之天堂；因為肯亞有台灣16倍大，所以每遷移一個國家公園都得耗上5-6小時，路況又糟，的確恨心煩，只不過看到一大群動物就在你面前經過，很多不悅都隨之拋開。
其實對於肯亞有刻板壞印象的旅人都可以去嘗試去看看不同的非洲氣氛，除了首都奈洛比交通混亂外，其他地區因地廣人稀大多很有非洲氣息，觀光業儼然已變成該國重要經濟來源，而且大多是歐美人士來此渡假，曾為英屬殖民地的它，許多建築及生活型態也一直延續。看動物當然是最重要的功課，帶著一本動物圖鑑的話，你一定會很有收穫的。
矛盾的想法是，希望大家去看看這個生態，又不希望太多人去會逐漸破壞了原有面貌，當地人也是有兩極的看法，尊重生命的觀念才能永續經營吧!

爺雖不帥但也不賴
我不是來踢館的, 只是這次去東非遇到一團鄭先生安排的團, 他們是一群愛鳥人士組成的, 我在肯亞與坦尚尼亞邊界辦完簽證等車時, 大家聊上的, 住的旅館聽他們說好壞差異很大, 還有一晚沒水可以洗澡的...
當天他們坦尚尼亞的旅行社讓他們從中午等到傍晚五點才來接, 聽起來怪怪的, 大家還是多問問小心點好.
我沒參加過中華民國自助旅遊協會的肯亞團活動, 但是我在Nairobi自助行時有碰到鄭先生所帶的團與他們一起晃了半天, 我的看法是:
一分錢一分貨, 自助旅遊協會的肯亞團是乎不便宜, 但是他們所住的旅館為五星級的旅館(強調在Nairobi - 因為不是所有的景點都有高級旅館)和所坐的車(Mini Bus)感覺不錯(曾搭過他們的便車) 且鄭先生會帶人到好吃又不貴的地方吃東西.
這僅為個人的觀察, 也許有其他更好更便宜的團. 僅供參考!

的確，我當時(8月中)遇到鄭大哥的時候他也是這麼說，好像是帳棚的狀況遇到一些問題，我沒多問，他也沒多說，只是我覺得出遊的人數少些應該會更好，等待及處理特殊情形的狀況會少些，協會這次好像共20幾人出遊，不過看來還蠻有趣的啦！多方參考及比較行程是一定要做的功課，但是否能如預期的完美，往往就得靠運氣，像這次我們就沒看到牛羚過河及捕捉獵食的情形，但一點點報憾，下次可以再去瞧瞧多一點，對於行程也可以多些想法。

If you ask the Centers for Disease Control, they will say Yes. Although I don't think it is necessary to inject yellow fever. However, for your health concern and prevent the customhouse will check and picky with you, I'll still recommend you may have that. Besides, this certificate have 10 years validity.

Unless you plan to go Tukana or nothern of Isiolo, otherwise it is okay for a lady to travel alone in Kenya.
My advice - try not to go out at night time in Nairobi.

My opinion is you should find a big local travel agency(ex. Visit Africa) to take you to safari in those great National Park. They are very professional and you will feel more safe. You don't need to stay in Nairobi,just directly go to safari. There is nothing special at downtown.

HIHI！just wander here and see your question. well, I went to Kenya and Tanzania for 15 days 3 years ago. And my suggestion is find a reputable travel agency and let them arrange everything for you then I think you would be fine to travel alone. But, do not walk alone in Nairobi even during the daytime. Cuz I went there with my parents and my elder sister, but we were all freaked out. Because we really felf unsaft walking on the streets.
There are plenty travel agencies there in Kenya, I think I wrote some of them down in my notes. But, ask some more travel agencies and compare the price. If you want, I can give you my travel agency's business card. And most of the travel agencies from Taiwan book their local tour with him I believed because the boss of that local agency asked me to help him, so I brought all the brochures back with me to Taiwan and mailed them to the Taiwanese travel agencies such as Southeastern, 佳美..................can't remember anymore.
Or maybe you can post your schedule on and we can give you our suggestions. Personally, I like samburu very much cuz the animals are different and plenty of birds there.
By theway, among the Hotels, the Serena Hotel (it's a chain hotels in National Parks) is the best I think in east Africa. Forget the second one.
