if everything is on schedule, u will have about 4 hrs so u can have a relax
breakfast b4 boarding for Singapore.
By the way, if u haven't booked AA's flight, u may take AK5351 (08:15) which is

I think I will have to be there at KUL airport 2hrs before boarding time which is 9.50am and that means I will only get 2hrs to pick up my luggages and take the bus to LCCT. :-|

In general, the check-in counter will be opened 2 or 3 hours before departure time and will be closed 1 hours before departure time. If AA flight departs and arrives on schedule, you will have about 3 hours to pick up your luggage and then take a bus to KLIA.

Normally all the passengers are requested to arrive the airport 2 hrs.
b4 the departure time for international flight but it is not a must.
If u have done on-line check-in already, 1 hr. prior to the departure time
will be good enough.
As u will take the domestic flight from Penang to LCCT, it is no need
get thru customs check or passport control anymore. By the way, it will
take you around 30-40 mins. to pick up the baggage and take shuttle bus from LCCT to KLIA. the shuttle bus from LCCT - KLIA is around 20 mins.
and the fare is RM 1.50.
it is, of course, no problem for you to arrive the KLIA earlier but it will
be a bit boring to wait for 2-3hrs. for your connecting flight to Singapore.

Don't forget that you will take Malaysian Airlines from KUL to SG, not
Air Asia. Do u think that AA will be responsible for its flight delay
which cause u missing your next connecting flight??
Don't worry...AA has some BIG improvement already and there will
seldom have any serious delay problem for early morning flights.
