請問hostelworld 網站上cancellation protection的規定
別把裝逼當時尚
當初利用http://www.hostelworld.com/訂房時，
有付一個cancellation protection的費用，
現在想換住宿的地點，
回頭查詢cancellation protection的辦法，
意思是不是取消訂房可以拿回訂金，但是還是得從他們的網站訂房？
他還有沒有特殊規定說怎樣的話，又拿不回訂金？
不曉得有沒有人使用過這一項cancellation protection？

Cancellation Protection enables you to cancel and rebook on Hostelworld.com as many times as you like, giving you the freedom to change your plans as you travel without losing your booking deposit.
The following Terms & Conditions apply:
1.Cancellation Protection is only valid for cancellations made within the Cancellation period set by the accommodation provider, in this case not later than 24 Hours before the scheduled check-in date.
2.Cancellations are only valid if processed online through your Hostelworld.com account. You can log-in to your account at www.hostelworld.com by clicking on the My Account Log-in at the top of the page. Cancellations by telephone or e-mail are not protected by cancellation protection.
3.Cancellation credit will be applied to your account which is identified by the e-mail address used to process your initial booking. Credit cannot be applied to a booking made using a different e-mail address.
4.Cancellation credit is only valid for bookings made online at www.hostelworld.com and must be used within 6 months from your cancellation date.
5.In order to use cancellation credit simply onto www.hostelworld.com and make a booking using the same e-mail address. Your credit will automatically apply to your booking once you confirm the reservation.
6.Credit may only be applied once; in the event of repeat cancellations you forfeit credit already used.
7.Cancellation credit only applies to accommodation booking deposits; it cannot be used against other charges on Hostelworld.com including booking fees or other purchases

如果你付了cancellation protection這筆費用
然後後來cancel了你目前訂的飯店
hostelworld它雖然不會退你訂金
但是它會幫你把訂金保留六個月
然後六個月內你如果重新訂另一家飯店
hostelworld它會把這筆款項用來扣抵你新訂飯店的訂金
如果超過六個月沒重新再訂
應該就會不保留訂金了!

沒錯，會直接抵用下一筆訂房訂金，但是抵扣的金額只有前一筆10%的deposit，也就是說會損失1.5歐的service charge，當然還有Cancellation protection的費用。
如果房價便宜訂金不是很高，不見得需要買Cancellatin protection。
還有，在你帳戶裡面看到的數字會是美金計價，扣款時轉回歐元。
