Udaipur兩個湖很漂亮 很直得去一趟
JAISALMER的話 我絕得既然大老遠到那裡
不去體驗一下兩天一夜的camel safari很可惜

2天如何排較好ㄋ
因看書 好像景點不多
到Udaipur時~記得~~慢慢體會唷~ ^^ 其實~在湖邊走走不錯唷

Just came back from India last Sunday. Don't worry, Lake Picola is now full of water and the Lake Palace is floating and looks pretty... though Udaipur is a bit touristy, will try to edit the photos coz got over 2000 pics...

if you have time, try to book a car to have a visit Devi Garh Hotel, it's sooo great, just a bit pretty expensive for me to stay there, really great!!!! However, the lowest price room = USD400, but still a great room, but booking car not too expensive.
I book a car from Jodphur to Udaipur (coz there is no train connection and I don't want to ride on the bus which are told very dirty). On the way I ask the driver to stop over Ranakpur (the temple with 1444 pillars.... the best temple you shouldn't miss), Devi Garh and the Jain temple very close to Udaipur, around USD71 without AC.
and my itinerary is Delhi>Jodhpur>Jaisalmer>Udaipur>Mumbai....

Thanks BBB, I will visit your mentioned Devi Garh and Jain temple which is in Udaipur maybe by taxi instead of rent a car.
AS for Ranakpur, is it far from Udaipur ? I will go directly to Jaipur after Udaipur, no time to Jodhpur.

However, for Ranakpur, you may go on the way to Udaipur, but it's around 3-4 hours from Udaipur which is difficult to get there by train. You may check if bus available or if you get 3-4 people, I think the cost will be similar to train cost from Udaipur to Jaipur. I think you will not regret if you can take the time to via Ranakpur.

Devi Garh and local Jain Temple are very near to each other (I think by car = 10 mins only) but I dun know taxi cost ( I guess around Rs 300-500 may be since it's quite a long way from the city).
For meals, whether it's expensive or not depends on where do you eat, but overall it's not expensive but I think Rs 200 for 1 person should be enough for a fair meal with say 2 dishes and 1 coke. Ha ha no buffet unless you go to a really 5 star hotel la, I stayed at Mewar in the old city very close to the City Palace (Rs 850 for a room/ double bed with little lake view, the restaurant view is great; I prefer to stay at Jawat Niwas but it's full), but it is the more expensive room, I think Rs 500 will be fair for a room for 2, but may not have Lake view of course.
