For example, Korea-Thailand (mutual 90 days no visa), Hong Kong-Thailand (mutual 30 days), Macau-Thailand (mutual 30 days),
Taiwan is not Japan, or Europe, or USA, if Taiwan want 免簽, I think the only way is to exchange 免簽 with Thailand like other東亞國家 Korea, HK, Macau.

true, but they'll need same things when they go to developed Western countries too! and is Taiwan not "developed"? we don't have problems like the "PIGS", we've maybe the "best" healthy insurance policy in the world...
but we're "low"! yes! shortly after New Zealand granted Taiwan Visa-Free status we broke the history record of smuggling the most volume of drugs into the country....(N)

This situation also exist between Thailand and South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Macau ect.
If South Korea, HK, Singapore, Macau all can do it, no problem, I am sure Taiwan can do it.
