great pictures! we are in our last stop of our 5 month journey now in Vietnam. Since we crossed border from Cambodia to here, my heart hasn't stopped beating CRAZY! The border checking, the motor taxi (especially) and even now at the internet shop (cuz it wouldn't let me open my own blog!)...what a BUSY country...gonna be here a month. Can't wait to see it all! Cheers! :)

my mom is a hakka so maybe i m half hakka but too bad i have zero knowledge of the sexy language.
i cant believe you guys are on a 5-mon trip there, that's AWESOME!! vietnam is a foodie's paradise and i loved all the local fare and exotic dishes there and u must sample all of them.

will do will do! let's see how much fun this country will be in one month time. Looks like ryan and i are gonna have about 10 stops in here before we fly back to taiwan in Hanoi! ;P I wish we could upload the picture we took through tthe trip, but using SLR doesn't help at all. We took about 100 films so far and all have them will only be developed in Taiwan. Hopefully then we could share some nice shots! Cheers! ;)

is anybody will go to Hanoi next days and can do me a favor? i would like to have a trip in mainland SEA and do boder corssing from northern Vietnam to Laos in July. but until now, i have little information about that.
can anybody ask some info in Hanoi for me about if foreigner travelers can got a 15-day Laos visa on arrival at the border check point (Moc Chau or so)? i will very appreciate for that....

Sounds like you will have NO problem doing that at all, and you will be fine getting the Laos Visa. But you have to make sure to get the Laos Visa in Hanoi (Vietnam or Bangkok) before crossing border at Moc Chau, NOT Dien Bien Phu for it's not open.
